Accommodation at Silky Oaks Lodge
Accommodation is understated and stylish with many features designed to enhance your experience including a spa bath in every room. On your verandah, lie back in your hammock and soak in the ambience of the rainforest. All rooms include air conditioning, telephone, bath robes, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fans, iron/ironing board, aromatherapy oil burner, hammock, CD player, fully stocked mini bar, hair dryer, balcony and evening turn down service.
Set in prime riverfront location, spectacular rainforest views and the soothing sounds of the Mossman River are key designer elements of the five premium Riverhouses. Generously spacious, with polished timber floors and elegant interiors, room appointments are stylish and comfortable. An oversized spa bath, with uninterrupted rainforest views, is one of the many special inclusions offered in addition to standard room features, which include a daybed. Riverhouse guests also enjoy premium sparkling wine and a deluxe tropical fruit basket on arrival.
Set into the rainforest and surrounded by lush gardens, each has been carefully designed to offer privacy and maximum comfort. Treehouses have an understated tropical style with natural tones and timbers used to create a relaxed, soothing living space. Dining at Silky Oaks Lodge
Treehouse Restaurant - The Treehouse Restaurant is one of Northern Queensland's premier dining experiences and the open-sided restaurant offers sensational unobstructed rainforest and river views. The menu showcases the freshest local produce and fine Australian wines. Open for breakfast 7.00am to 10.00am, lunch 12.00 noon to 2.30pm and dinner 6.00pm to 9.00pm. Special dietary requirements and picnic hampers are available by advance arrangement.
Private Riverside Dining - For a special occasion or romantic evening, private riverside dining is available in a secluded setting on the Mossman River. Enjoy a 3 course menu, with your selection of wines, by the glow of candlelight and with the sounds of the rainforest and river surrounding you. Private dining can be booked on arrival or during your stay at Silky Oaks Lodge. Please note additional costs apply.
Treehouse Bar - Relax as you enjoy a cold beer or cocktail and swap tales with fellow adventurers. Open 11am to 11pm.

Healing Waters Spa
Drawing on the spirit of the Daintree - the oldest living rainforest on Earth - the Spa is designed with renewal, vitality and well-being in mind and offers a range of signature treatments based on a tradition of healing that is centuries old. The Healing Waters Spa is located in an area that resonates with ancient ceremonies and whispers of sacred healings. Welcomed by the serene river and lush greenery, guests are encouraged to journey tranquil garden paths to the Healing Waters Spa and its promise of rest and rejuvenation.
The treatments at the Spa have also evolved from the landscape. The power of the Mossman River's mineral-rich waters and the flower and plant essences of the living rainforest are distilled into signature therapies which are designed to invigorate the mind and body and energise the spirit. A variety of treatments using all Australian natural spa care products from Sodashi and Li'Tya. Sodashi, a premium face and body care range focuses on 'wholeness, purity and radiance' to relax and restore whilst Li'Tya products draw on the ancient knowledge of the Aboriginal people to nurture and heal.
