Parking is available right at your door during the summer months. During
winter over snow transfers are included on arrival and departure days as
well as the "end of day" skier shuttle.
Dining
Your hosts are on hand to offer personal and friendly service throughout the
year. A seasonal room service menu and extensive wine list is available for
those wanting to kick back and spend more time soaking up the view (or
soaking in a spa). Make sure you try the famed Stables Restaurant, the
perfect escape whatever the season. Please pre-book or include a Meal plan
with your accommodation package as this is a very popular restaurant and
guests from other accommodation houses often dine with us.
Getting to The Stables Resort
Perisher Valley is a comfortable 6 hour drive from Sydney and just 2½ hours
away from Canberra. If you would rather leave your car at home, regular
schedule flights operate into Cooma where taxi, hire car and coach
connections can be made to Perisher Valley.
Parking
The National Parks and Wildlife Service do not permit overnight parking in
Perisher. Parking is available at the free and secure car park at the
Bullocks Flat Skitube Terminal situated on the Alpine Way (the road to
Thredbo) or you can arrange for overnight parking at Sawpit Creek, midway
between Perisher Valley and Jindabyne. All vehicles entering the Kosciusko
National Park must carry suitable snow tyre chains. An approximate entry fee of $16 per
day applies to all vehicles entering the National Park.
Please Note: When parking at the Bullocks Flat Skitube Terminal snow chains
are not required.
Take the headache out of planning your ski holiday by booking one of our “all inclusive packages” where we take care of your accommodation, transfers, ski hire, lift tickets and meals.
