What to pack
Your apartment will come with linen, toiletries, tea/coffee starter packs
and all the kitchen utensils you will need. There is a supermarket in
Thredbo but if you are arriving late it may be best to stock up on
provisions at the supermarkets in Cooma or Jindabyne or have your first
breakfast in one of the many cafes. Squatters Run have a CD and video
library but also suggest you bring any real favourites with you, as well as
play stations and other kids entertainment.
Internet access is available by using your laptop to dial a local or 1800
number, which your ISP can supply you with before you leave home. Ski gear
is obvious for winter but please don't forget goggles; beanies; neck warmers
and of course, wrist guards for snow boarders. Warm clothing is essential
all through the year as even summer nights can be chilly.
Other summer essentials are hats; insect repellent and walking boots. If you
plan any activities we recommend you bring your swimmers, tennis gear and so
on. There is heaps to do in summer so come and surprise yourself!

Finding Squatters Run
As vehicles are not permitted in the Village Mall on which Squatters is
built, you reach Squatters by driving along the main road which loops inside
the village. You will pass the church and Credo restaurant on your right and
Squatters is on you left hand side a further 800 metres along. The main
reception is located at the top of Squatters, just after the car parking
areas - come on in and collect your keys which will open both your rooms and
give you car parking access to your designated car spot. If you are
arriving after 5 pm just call ahead and let them know. We will leave your
key for you at reception.
