Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Launceston - Quoll Patrol – Gourmet Bush Tucker Dinner
You have the opportunity to observe some of Tasmania’s unique wildlife species and wilderness areas as well as experiencing a Tasmanian Bush Tucker dinner featuring gourmet game foods, fresh produce and Tassie wines and beers. We return to Launceston between 8.30 - 10.30pm. Overnight - Peppers Seaport Hotel – Dinner on Tour

Day 2 – Evercreech Forest Reserve and Freycinet National Park
Today we travel north east to Evercreech Forest Reserve, home of the ‘White Knights” the tallest white gums in the world. From Evercreech we lunch at the Mt Elephant Pancake Parlor before finding our way to the warm sand and turquoise oceans, and long, seaside twilights of Freycinet National Park. Overnight Freycinet Lodge – Dinner inclusive

Day 3 – Freycinet Ocean Cruise and Wineglass Bay
Today you will experience Freycinet Peninsula on a morning 3.5 hour cruise with Freycinet Sea Charters. Departing at 9.00am you will explore the granite cliffs and sea caves, then onto Wineglass Bay where you can swim, walk the beach or relax on board the catamaran the Schouten Passage. The afternoon can be spent hiking to the Wineglass Bay lookout (hike/cruise or cruise/hike options are available) and visiting Cape Tourville. Overnight Freycinet Lodge – Dinner inclusive

Day 4 - Weilangta State Forest - Aboriginal Rock Shelter
Departing Freycinet we journey around Great Oyster Bay with its astounding views of the Hazards - majestic pink granite formations - and make our way down the south east coast of Tasmania. Our scenic drive takes us through the beautiful Weilangta State Forest, stopping off at a few vineyards, a berry farm and also an aboriginal rock shelter. We will also make a brief visit to The Three Thumbs lookout with its stunning views of Maria Island before continuing on to Hobart. Overnight Henry Jones art Hotel or similar - Dinner own arrangements.

Day 5 – Hobart shopping – Coal Valley region – Lunch at Moorilla Estate
Today you may spend some time exploring Hobart’s waterfront and retail areas (Salamanca Market on Saturdays). Departing Hobart we make our way to Barilla Bay to sample the best oysters in Australia accompanied by some superb Southern wines and other treats. Departing Barilla Bay we venture up the Coal River Valley, sampling your way through the historic town of Richmond and the best south eastern vineyards such as Moorilla Estate where we will have lunch, continuing on to other vineyards such as– Meadow bank – Charles Reuben, Stefano Lubiana, Palmara and Craigow to name a few. Day 6 – Heritage Highway - Tasmanian Devils – Honey Farm
Today we take an enchanting trip back in time to the heritage highway region. See Tasmania’s European heritage, ever present in the Georgian towns of Oatlands, Ross and Campbell Town on our way to Cradle Mountain. En route we will stop at a Honey Farm, then onto Trowunna Wildlife Park to pat a koala, cuddle a wombat and see the Tasmanian devils being fed. Day 7 – Cradle Mountain Activities
Today we take in the alpine wilderness of Cradle Mountain. We will visit the Cradle Mt. Visitor Centre and take a few interpretive strolls and drive into Dove Lake to take the 2 hour circuit hike of the lake. We will also visit Waldheim Chalet to re-live the hardships endured by Gustav Weindorfer and his family in their dream environment. (Optional extra not included in cost – Helicopter flight over the rugged S/W wilderness of Tasmania). Overnight Cradle Mountain Mt Lodge / Chateau – Dinner inclusive

Day 8 – Sheffield - Ashgrove Cheeses - Taste of the Tamar Tour
Departing Cradle Mountain we make our way to Launceston visiting Sheffield “Town of Murals” and Ashgrove Cheese Farm along the way. We take a brief tour of the Launceston city sites before making our way down the beautiful Tamar Valley to our first destination at Rosevears Estate. Here its time to kick start the senses and tempt the taste buds with Tassie’s superb cool climate wines. Our next stop will be Strathlynn Vineyard overlooking the Tamar River and also our lunch destination, to taste some of Tasmania’s unrivalled fresh local gourmet cuisine and wines, the resident chef Daniel Alps is recognised as one of Australia’s best. After Lunch we will continue exploring the Tamar Vineyards. Overnight Peppers Seaport Hotel – Dinner Stillwater Restaurant

Day 9 – Early Transfer to Launceston Airport.
