Itinerary
Day 1 – Depart Hobart 1.00pm – Mt Field - Gourmet Wilderness and Wildlife Tour
Departing Hobart travelling along the majestic Derwent River we enter a region of diversity, rural vistas, hills and valleys to rugged mountain ranges, towering forests and wilderness. Our first destination will be to view the panoramic 360 degree views over the Florentine Valley and Lake Pedder from Mt. Tim Shea. Next we will journey to Mt Field National Park to walk through the ferns and rainforest and some of the world’s tallest eucalypt forests to Russell Falls before enjoying a gourmet bush tucker dinner and later viewing some of Tasmania’s wildlife species. Return to Hobart around 10.30pm. Overnight – Henry Jones Art Hotel – Dinner on tour

Day 2 – Depart Hobart 9.00 am – Huon Valley
Leaving Hobart we drive to Mt Wellington or Mt Nelson, to experience the stunning vistas from the pinnacle. Our next destination is Huonville to take a thrilling river jet boat journey on the Huon River and then onto Franklin and the Wooden Boat Centre to discover the rich history of Tasmania’s boat-building heritage. The afternoon will be spent exploring the attractions of the scenic Channel Highway on the return trip to Hobart and stopping off at the Shot Tower, built in 1870 for making lead gunshot. Climb 58m (318 steps) to the top for spectacular views of the Derwent. Overnight – Henry Jones Art Hotel – Dinner Ball and Chain Grill inclusive

Day 3 – Depart Hobart 9.00am – Bonorong Wildlife Park, Richmond and Coal Valley Region
Our first destination today is Bonorong Wildlife Park where you will be fascinated by Tasmania’s special wildlife species. Hand feed the kangaroos and share unforgettable moments with the koalas. Next stop will be to explore Richmond historic village, an impressive Georgian township with historic gems unmatched elsewhere in Australia. It is home to the oldest Australian Bridge, Australia’s oldest remaining Catholic Church and Australia’s oldest convict gaol. Lunch will be at the Barilla Bay Restaurant. The afternoon will be spent visiting some of the many Coal River Valley wineries. Overnight – Henry Jones Art Hotel – Dinner own arrangements
