Travel by 4WD vehicle to the North East of Tasmania, stopping on occasions to absorb the stunning topographical vistas on offer while meandering our way through rolling patchwork displays of forests and rich farmland.
Via bush tracks and back roads through a unique and diverse range of landscapes we find ourselves at a spectacular destination, and the opportunity to stand beneath the tallest white gum trees in the world at Evercreech Forest Reserve in the Fingal State Forests.
After a light refreshments and a gentle stroll we venture off to locate our dinner destination, where your guide will tantalise your taste-buds with gourmet dishes such as succulent glazed tenderloins of wallaby with native pepper-berry and port sauce, or perhaps our very own original Tassie Mountain Burgers with pickle-berry sauce, or our 3 spiced Tasmanian trout cooked over the campfire, freshly baked bread, salads with garden fresh tomatoes with lemon myrtle dressing, all accompanies and consumed with Tasmania’s award winning cool climate bouquet wines and beers and scrumptious cheeses, All this will be prepared by our own “Bush Chef” and served up with nature.
After dinner you will have the opportunity to view Tasmania’s unique wildlife in their natural habitat. Species that you are likely to encounter are wallaby, possum, wombat, quoll, bandicoot and other nocturnal inhabitants in the north east of Tasmania, before making our way back to you accommodation in the late evening.
