For weddings, the property must be taken as ‘Sole Use’ giving you total privacy, access to all the grounds and the eight fully air-conditioned accommodation rooms which all open on to the stunning wrap around verandahs.
The bridal suite is decorated with contemporary Plantation panache. An imposing padded bed head reaches toward the ceiling. Flanked by two exotic bedside lamps in the shape of palm trees and matched to the drapes and valance, the ensemble presents a study of white on white tropical elegance. The screen printed design of exuberant foliage is reflected in a spectacular white mirror that bathes the room in Queensland light and waits expectantly to greet a bride to be.
The Plantation features superb manicured gardens, ideal for larger events held under beautifully draped marques, a saltwater pool, summer house for intimate smaller groups and numerous secluded areas perfect for all your wedding photos. Warm and welcoming, yet elegantly casual, The Plantation, a previously private estate of 21 acres has opened its doors to the corporate market. Private conference space coupled with modern technology. Delicious meals and impeccable service ensures your conference success.
Positioned just outside the township of Cooroy in the Noosa Hinterland and just 20 minutes from the bustling Hastings Street precinct, we are beautifully positioned to provide your business with a private and secluded conference destination. Easily accessible from the domestic and international airports of the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, we can provide a courtesy minibus for smaller workgroups or coordinate coaches to transport larger groups.
The conference facilities combine state of the art technology with modern comfort and secluded privacy. The Plantation offers two distinct areas for conferencing use. Our main conference media room caters for up to 80 delegate’s theatre style, and offers the following facilities:

A smaller breakout room can cater for 15 people. Several other areas exist for break-out opportunities and working meetings.

Off site meals can also be arranged for you. Transport to and from The Plantation can be easily coordinated as required.

The Chefs will create menus to complement your theme, from a classic cocktail style party to more upmarket styling for a gala dinner. You will have exclusive use of the estate for your wedding, or special event.
NOTE: It is a condition that you take the whole estate when booking your wedding or event at The Plantation. This means you must book the 8 accommodation rooms and exclusive use of all facilities for two nights minimum for mid week and three nights minimum for weekend bookings.

Maroochydore Airport services flights from all Australian capital cities with connections available from most regional centres as well. Maroochydore Airport is 30 minutes away, and Brisbane Airport, approximately 90 minutes by car. Cooroy also has direct rail access south to Brisbane and north to Cairns.
