Burrawang West Station's quintessential Australian homestead was originally designed as a private retreat for senior executives, key decision makers and preferred customers of a large international development company. The developers spared no expense in creating a magnificent setting for its exclusive guests to experience the wonders of outback Australia. Now available for private bookings, accommodation provides for up to 24 guests. Complete privacy and exclusive use of Burrawang West Station retreat is available for groups of 10 or more. Couples and small groups are most graciously welcome.

Homestead and Accommodation

The main homestead includes a formal dining room, living room and extensive bar and cellar. Our unique blend of traditional elegance and country hospitality invites each guest to feel at home. Burrawang West Station sets new standards in luxury and comfort. Our guests enjoy award-winning accommodation with contemporary furnishings, classic Australian antiques and notable artworks in spacious living areas. As a guest, you will stay in one of twelve suites, located within four beautifully appointed boutique lodges, each with fully screened verandas for maximum enjoyment of the sweeping views. From crisp bed linen to cosy thick house robes and spacious living areas, every detail considers your ultimate comfort and pleasure. To enhance your stay, each lodge is air-conditioned, has its own fireplace and is fully equipped with modern amenities. Total capacity is 12 guests on a single basis, or up to 24 guests, twin share.

Seamless blending of work and play is natural at Burrawang West Station. The beauty of Australia's outback beckons Burrawang guests to explore and relax. Explore our historic cattle station aboard a four-wheel bike. Spend some time with true Australian cattlemen, who produce some of Australia's finest beef, Burrawang Beef. Experience the passion and energy they bring to their work. Paddle through the serenity of swaying gumtrees and tranquil waterways in a canoe or dinghy. Compete, or just play, on one of two floodlit tennis courts, at the par 3 golf hole, or the archery range. Enjoy a full round of golf at the local course, located within a 20 minute drive of the retreat. All equipment is provided for your full participation in any of the retreat's activities. Take a dip in the sparkling 20 metre pool or kick back in an indoor or outdoor spa. Steam your cares away in a soothing sauna, recline in your favourite squatter's chair, perched on the veranda of your private lodge or at the homestead. Star gaze through our telescope atop the purpose built observation tower.

Location and Transfers Burrawang West Station is located between Parkes and Condobolin, 435km west of Sydney, in the lush rural grazing region of central New South Wales. A short flight or leisurely drive, guests choose the travel option which best suits their style. Ground transfers from Parkes or Condobolin, and all air charter flights can be arranged along with your package. Popular travel options from Sydney include private charter flights. Flights from Bankstown and Kingsford Smith airports to Burrawang West Station's airstrip, or Condobolin airport, are available through several private charter companies. With prior permission, private aircraft can land at Burrawang West Station's airstrip or at Condobolin Airport. Flying times vary from 1 to 1 ¼ hours, based on aircraft.
