MV Joe Joe not only caters for adventurous fishing types, but also for scuba divers, snorkellers, environmentalists, marine biologists/researchers, film and television crews and travellers - who simply want to enjoy The Great Barrier Reef and Far North Queensland.in cruising style.
MV Joe Joe boasts 3 sumptuously appointed cabins-a double bed Master Cabin and 2 x Twin Cabins complemented by a luxury saloon oozing all the creature comforts.
Main Cabin: Queen size bed, reverse cycle air-conditioning, colour flat screen television and DVD, CD player and radio, ensuite bathroom and toilet, hot and cold fresh water shower, full length wardrobes, 6ft head clearance.
Twin Cabins: Twin single beds, reverse cycle air-conditioning colour flat screen television and DVD, CD player and radio, 1 x cabin with ensuite, shared toilet with shower, full length wardrobes.
Saloon: Luxury furnishings, reverse cycle air-conditioning, flat screen television and DVD, Yamaha sound system, bar fridge, galley equipped for gourmet catering, ice maker, 240volt power, satellite telephone/email
On Deck: Swim platform with ladder, freshwater deck shower, built-in BBQ, outdoor wet bar, Relax heavy-duty game chair and outriggers, deck freezer, washing machine and clothes dryer.

As we travel throughout the wondrous Great Barrier Reef waters and islands, our on-board Chef will tempt and satisfy the most discerning of tastes using only the finest local ingredients - local seafood, tender cuts of North Australian beef, and fresh fruit and vegetables. MV Joe Joe's onboard catering reflects the quality and variety you would rightly expect from an Executive Chef with in-depth experience catering to the most discerning palates.
Scuba Instructor / Divemaster on MV Joe Joe
For clients wishing to experience SCUBA diving in one of the world's best locations and experience the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef and beyond...Joe Joe can organize a fully qualified Dive Master / Instructor as required.
For the more advanced divers, we can design an itinerary to suit your interest and level of experience.

• High Season - July to December inclusive
• Low Season - January to June inclusive
• Day Charters - Inshore Waters Only: A max of 12 passengers applies to day charters. The all inclusive charter rate shown above applies for 1-6 passengers only. An extra passengers surcharge (up to a max. of 12) applies.
• Extended Charters - Offshore Waters: During extended offshore cruising we comfortably sleep 6 guests. For Heavy Tackle Game Fishing we recommend a maximum of 5 guests. Depending on berthing arrangements a max. of 7 passengers may be accommodated on extended liveaboard charters. The all inclusive charter rate applies for 1-4 passengers only. An extra passengers surcharge (up to a max. of 7) applies.
• SCUBA Instructor / Dive Master: Daily hire rate plus equipment hire per day rate.
• Minimum Age: Minimum age permitted onboard for health and safety reasons is 8 years
• Relocation: For MV Joe Joe to be relocated to a point of departure other than Port Douglas, a delivery fee of a minimum of $ per km (depending on allocated travel time and any special staffing requirements) applies. Relocation fee to be advised prior to booking confirmation following consultation with our captain.
• A signed Disclaimer and Safety Agreement is required from all passengers prior to the commencement of the charter.
MV Joe Joe Location
By air visitors arrive at Cairns International Airport. The trip north to Port Douglas along the Captain Cook Highway, is one of Australia's most spectacular coast drives. Visitors should allow one hours drive to reach MV Joe Joe or pre-cruise accommodation choice.
You may prefer a helicopter transfer from the Great Barrier Reef Helicopter Group base at General Aviation, Cairns Airport. From here you can fly to Port Douglas and enjoy a 'birds eye view' of the region.
