Launched in Newcastle in 2001, Motor Vessel Joe Joe is a modern, sleek,
'state of the art' luxury private charter boat. Originally cruising the
Australian eastern seaboard, in 2002, she moved to tropical Far North
Queensland and is now permanently based in Port Douglas at the prestigious
Marina Mirage. (Departures are also available from the Port of Cairns).
MV Joe Joe is now entertaining select clients who share a passion for
onboard marine vacations and 'the great outdoors', whether your passion is
luxury cruising, game fishing, snorkelling or scuba - or perhaps a
combination of each.
MV Joe Joe not only caters for adventurous fishing types, but also for scuba
divers, snorkellers, environmentalists, marine biologists/researchers, film
and television crews and travellers - who simply want to enjoy The Great

Location
By air visitors arrive at Cairns International Airport. The trip north to
Port Douglas along the Captain Cook Highway, is one of Australia's most
spectacular coast drives. Visitors should allow one hours drive to reach MV
Joe Joe or pre-cruise accommodation choice.
You may prefer a helicopter transfer from the Great Barrier Reef Helicopter
Group base at General Aviation, Cairns Airport. From here you can fly to
Port Douglas and enjoy a 'birds eye view' of the region.
