Catering and Provisions Our granite kitchen will inspire those who love to cook, featuring a gas cook top and quality equipment. The fridge/freezer is a Consol LP gas 231 litre and works well in the tropical climate. Designed for the love of the outdoors, the barbecue is located on the deck and connected to the main gas supply. This is by far the best place to cook and with a view. The barbecue is great for roasts with the hood down.

Q. Can I visit any restaurants on Bedarra Island? A. No, you need to self cater. There is a resort on Bedarra Island that has a restaurant but it's only available for their guests. Conversely, Resort guests are not permitted to travel to your area of the island. This ensures privacy and deters day trippers.

Q. Can I visit Dunk Island Resort? A. Dunk Island Resort permits visitors during the day only. Travel is by boat and booking details can be provided at the time of your booking.

Q. Is it possible to do a reef tour from Bedarra Island? A. Yes, this can be co-ordinated through Dunk Island Resort. Our caretakers can assist you with this also.

Getting to Bedarra Beach House
All major domestic airlines and some international airlines offer regular flights to Cairns. From Cairns a 15 minute small aircraft flight will take you to Dunk Island and from there you will be transferred to the chartered launch to enjoy a 20-minute boat ride to East Bedarra Island.
