The Matrix - Terms and Conditions of Hire
We look forward to welcoming you on board The Matrix Houseboat. To ensure your holiday is relaxing and memorable, please be aware of the following terms and conditions:

• The person responsible for the craft under hire must be 21 years of age and hold and present on arrival, a current boat or car driving license and agree to observe all Transport SA Marine Section Regulations that apply.
• Number of persons abroad the vessel must not exceed the number of berths by Maritime Regulations.
• Houseboat MUST NOT go south of the Wellington Ferry.
• Houseboat MUST NOT be driven at night.
• A DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED WHEN BOOKING. The balance of the hire charge is due and payable six (6) weeks prior to hire commencing.
• A CASH (OR CREDIT CARD) SECURITY BOND OF $1000 (One thousand dollars only) IS PAYABLE WHEN BOARDING THE VESSEL.
• In the event of cancellation, no money will be returned until the hire period has been completely rebooked and a cancellation fee of $100 per booking will apply.
• The owner/agent reserves the right to refuse any person or persons the use of the craft.
• Damage and loss of equipment will be charged at cost. No pets, firearms, trail bikes or wood cutting implements are allowed.
• Every endeavour will be made to have the boat, motors and accessories in good working order. However, the owner/agent will not be obligated to compensate the hirer for any loss of time due to mechanical problems during the hire period.
• Any service calls, caused by hirers mishandling of the vessel will be charged at cost.
• Any minor damage, fuel, ice, sundry hire or insurance excess will be deducted from the bond before the balance is returned to you, within 7 days of your return.
• You are not permitted to bring weapons, jerry cans, axes or chainsaws on board.
• The Matrix is a non smoking boat. Smoking inside the Matrix Is not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted on the Matrix.

Location
The Matrix is moored in Mannum, approximately 1.5 hours drive from Adelaide.
