Accommodation at Mona Country Manor
There are two villas from which to choose. The Stables has four bedrooms and a large lounge which features a billiard table and coin-free juke box, while the Tuscan-inspired Coachhouse (completed in 2004) has three king bedrooms, each with an ensuite. Mona also has a large function centre on site and is popular for weddings - with grounds like these, it's a photographer's dream.

At Mona, you will never find yourself in a room next to strangers as the accommodation is designed for your privacy. For groups of 4 or more - only those in your party will be accommodated for the period of your booking. It's one of the differences which make a stay at Mona unique.

The Coach House Villa Accommodation at Mona
Enjoy absolute luxury in this historic 3 bedroom/3 bathroom self contained accommodation at Mona - suitable for couples on a romantic getaway, small groups of friends, or part of a larger party when booked with the Stables Villa for exclusive use of the entire property. Built in 1903 it originally operated as a coachhouse.

In 2005 a complete restoration, renovation and refurbishment saw this gracious, impressive building turned into luxurious self contained accommodation. With its tiled floor throughout featuring underfloor heating, and generously proportioned rooms, it is now more like a grand European Villa than a home to horses.

Set in its own private gardens, the Coach House accommodates up to six adults in three spacious king bedrooms, each with large luxury ensuites. The former central breezeway is now an extensive lounge/dining area. There is a separate eat-in self catering gourmet kitchen which opens onto a European style terrace for alfresco dining. The central lounge area has comfortable and inviting couches and arm chairs around a cosy wood fire. Guests can enjoy fine dining and candlelit dinners around the antique French farmhouse table with plush upholstered dining chairs, in the adjoining area.

A clever mix of antique and fine wood sideboards and tables, soft lamp lighting, prints and paintings combine to provide a special, warm and elegant atmosphere. The original hand cut wood beam ceiling has been preserved and contributes to the significant historical feeling. A TV / DVD and sound system is available, along with a selection of easy listening CDs / DVDs.

The gourmet eat-in kitchen is fitted with a wide Emilie gas stove and a dishwasher. Very popular is the Jura espresso machine which produces coffee with a professional "crema". The kitchen is fully equipped with glassware, china, pots and pans and all the cookware the home chef requires for the preparation of that special, celebratory meal. In addition to the easy access to the formal dining table, the kitchen has a door leading to a sunny sheltered courtyard for alfresco dining, and grand, old, shady oak beyond.

The Rooms at Coach House Villa - Mona Country Manor

The Leonardo ("Pink") Room (15.84 sq m), is a charming King bedroom with ensuite. It has a view across the courtyard to country retreat vistas of green pastures and trees.

The Mona Lisa Room (25.08 sq m), is a spacious and gracious King bed room with a sitting area in the bedroom and ensuite. The French windows open onto the more formal Magnolia lawn on the north side of the Coach House Villa. The distant view is of Braidwood Wilson Hill.
