ITINERARY

Day 1. Purnululu (Bungle Bungle) National Park, Cathedral Gorge, Piccaninny Creek part Kununurra aboard a scenic flight to one of Australia's last frontiers, the spectacular World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park. Marvel at the majesty of Cathedral Gorge as you test out the acoustics of this natural amphitheatre. Walk along the ancient dry bed of Piccaninny Creek for a close-up inspection of the domes. A local guide will bring the history of the domes to life, describing both their cultural and geological significance. Please note depending on the day of week departure time from Kununurra will either be 6.00am or 9.00am and will be confirmed at time of booking. Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge. Day 2. Echidna Chasm, Mini Palms Gorge
After a hearty homestyle breakfast this morning, walk along an ancient riverbed to pretty Mini Palms Gorge, where the sun creates a beautiful ethereal glow. Then, after a picnic lunch in the shade, take an easy hike along a Livistona palm-fringed trail into magical Echidna Chasm. With sunlight streaming down through narrow cracks in the towering rocks, this is an ideal opportunity for some spectacular photography. Later this afternoon board a scenic flight back to Kununurra, where your tour concludes upon arrival at approximately 5.00pm.
