ITINERARY
Day 1. Kununurra
On arrival in Kununurra, transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to explore at your leisure. Two Night Stay: Kununurra, Country Club Resort.
Day 2. Lake Argyle, Ord River Cruise
Tour to Lake Argyle, the largest man-made lake in the southern hemisphere. Visit Durack Homestead, named after the region’s most famous pioneering family, and take a wildlife cruise along the Ord River. Watch for the wildlife that inhabits this area.

Day 3. Argyle Diamond Mine, Purnululu (Bungle Bungle) National Park
Departing Kununurra this morning around 10.30 a.m., we take a scenic flight over Lake Kununurra, the Carr Boyd Range and Lake Argyle before landing at the Argyle Diamond Mine. Take a guided tour of the process plant and diamond display room. Enjoy an excellent lunch at the well-appointed staff village, before boarding a flight to World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park. Two Night Stay: EXCLUSIVE! KWA’s award-winning Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge in the heart of Purnululu. Tented cabins with ensuite bathrooms. (L,D)
Day 4. Cathedral Gorge, Piccaninny Creek
Explore majestic Cathedral Gorge and test out the acoustics within this natural amphitheatre. Enjoy a walk along the dry bed of Piccaninny Creek and inspect the Bungle Bungle domes up close. Your guide will bring the history of these unique structures to life. Take an optional scenic helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungle Range (own expense). (B,L,D)
Day 5. Echidna Chasm, Mini Palms Gorge
Visit breathtaking Echidna Chasm – one of Australia’s most beautiful walking destinations. Then, after a picnic lunch, walk along an ancient river bed to Mini Palms Gorge. Take a scenic flight back to Kununurra, where your tour concludes upon arrival. (B,L)
