The moment you are welcomed aboard Pacific Sunrise you will feel as though you have stepped back in time to a traditional boutique hotel where high levels of service, low guest numbers and an atmosphere of distinction were the norm. Starting her life as a Fijian built 38 meter (125 foot) island trader, Pacific Sunrise is now fi tted out as a boutique floating hotel boasting 3 separate deck levels, only 8 guest suites, a maximum of 17 guests and minimum of 5 crew. The largest suites of any vessel in the region along with their accompanying en-suites are the size of a regular hotel suite and fully renovated to a very high standard. The air-conditioned suites vary in size and position through out the vessel and each one has its own name and features enabling guests to choose the ambiance of their holiday in advance. Built by a master shipwright the atmosphere is further enhanced by the tropical layout and use of a variety of exotic timbers in the construction. Our fully functional galley, licenced bar and dining room with seating for all passengers, provides areas for meeting and socialising with other guests. While our various secluded balconies and deck levels enable guests to find their own private space and a feeling of solitude to enjoy the view of the beautiful Whitsunday Islands. Pacific Sunrise will carry you on a journey amongst the Whitsunday Islands region of the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park as well as to areas of the outer Great Barrier Reef. At these fantastic locations our crew will assist you to snorkel over coral reefs, view the coral and marine life from the glass bottom boat, explore tropical islands and beautiful sandy beaches and island rain forest. Whitsunday Blue has large twin forward nets for relaxing and plenty of deck space. Our shallow draft allows us to back right up to the beach and the hulls have transform steps for easy access in and out of the water. There is plenty of sailing, swimming, snorkelling, sunbaking, beach hopping and of course wining and dining to enjoy! Unwind with a good book and our quiet relaxing sail or join the skipper for a chat at the helm. Enjoy world-class snorkelling on the spectacular fringing reefs, bursting with an abundance or marine and bird life as well as brilliant coral. There is nothing like the experience of swimming with a 2 metre giant Maori Wrasse amongst a school of fish! Discover why Whitehaven Beach is so famous. This vast stretch of almost pure silica sand goes on for 6 kilometres. It's no wonder its rated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, it will be an absolute highlight of your trip. You may never want to leave, but when you do there is more exploring of sensational lush green tropical islands and as you sail you will have the opportunity to view the resorts on the more well known Whitsunday Islands also. Add to this picture a breathtaking crimson sunset, all with a backdrop of crystal blue waters this is your chance to create once in a lifetime memories.

The sumptuous gourmet meals prepared by your live aboard host are amazing. Our staff are ever enthusiastic and will provide you with superb smorgasbords we know you will never be disappointed with the quality of our food and you will also delight in the aroma of freshly brewed local coffee. This is a BYO vessel for alcohol and there is tea and coffee making facilities and fresh fruit on offer throughout your trip and a range of soft drinks available for purchase. We are able to cater for special dietary needs, eg. vegetarian, gluten intolerant or allergies and we are happy to help with special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries, just let us know at the time of booking.
