At Koonyum Range Retreat sit back, relax and enjoy the views from your own private jacuzzi spa, set neatly into the deck of Lotus Chalet or enjoy the landscaped surrounds from your mosaic tiled in-ground nature spa at The Edge. Generous wrap-around shaded verandahs supported by massive Ironbark poles affords a perfect area for resting, sunning and relaxed outdoor dining with a gourmet-style barbeque and seating up to six set against a stunning vista. From your bedroom enjoy spectacular views toward Byron Bay and surrounding areas. Sumptuous natural fibre bedding will ensure a good nights sleep, while the remote controlled air-conditioning and heater will provide the temperature and ambience you desire for complete comfort. The lounge area is compact, yet comfortable and houses the sofa-bed for extra guests. The kitchen is well stocked for easy self catering. Enjoy the quaint and simple homliness while soaking in the breathtaking views, especially from the jacuzzi spa on the balcony and at Sundown from the comfort of your bedroom. Getting to Koonyum Range Retreat - Byron Bay Hinterland
From Byron Bay: Drive toward the highway and over the bridge as if going NORTH toward Tweed Heads but do not enter the highway. Instead, just over the bridge turn RIGHT on Myocum Rd. Follow for approx. 11.6km through rolling farmlands, until you come to a stop sign at the T-Intersection. Turn RIGHT towards Mullumbimby then an immediate LEFT on Wilson’s Creek Rd. Drive 5.6km up a winding hill until you reach "Koonyum Range Rd." Turn RIGHT on the dirt road and proceed slowly. Drive exactly 1.8km; look for a sign opposite our driveway that reads Koonyum Range Retreat. Turn right into the driveway.

From the Highway: Take the Mullumbimby Exit and proceed to Mullumbimby. Drive to the end of the main street until you come to the last intersection where the POST OFFICE is on the left corner and the POLICE are on the right corner. Turn LEFT at this intersection; proceed past the swimming pool, bowling club and high school, then out of town past the Mullumbimby Golf Course. At the end of the driving range on your RIGHT you will see Wanganui Rd (to Wilson's Creek). Drive 5.6km up a winding hill until you reach "Koonyum Range Rd." Turn RIGHT on the dirt road and proceed slowly. Drive exactly 1.8km; look for a sign opposite our driveway that reads Koonyum Range Retreat. Turn right into the driveway.
