Seascape opened in 2001 and was lovingly designed and purpose built to
cater for the discerning visitor looking for special accommodation on
Kangaroo Island. Set on five tranquil acres in a spectacular coastal
location, Seascape overlooks the beautiful 5 kilometre pristine beach at Emu
Bay. All rooms at Seascape have sensational ocean, coastal and rural views
as far as the eye can see. The design is contemporary, the setting is
secluded and the views are breathtaking.
Accommodation at Seascape on Emu Bay

Seascape on Emu Bay has three spacious guest suites and can accommodate a
maximum of seven guests per night; ideal for singles, couples or
honeymooners looking for luxury, peace and privacy. Sole occupancy of
Seascape is also offered, ideal for families or guests wishing to have
exclusive use of the property. All suites are strictly non-smoking, however
smoking is permitted outdoors.

With first class appointments, friendly Australian hospitality, fine dining
and a relaxed atmosphere, you will feel like a very special houseguest at
Seascape. The neutral decor and contemporary design blends naturally into
the stunning backdrop of bushland, ocean and sky on pristine Kangaroo
Island. Seascape on Emu Bay provide fully hosted service and cooked and
continental breakfast is included in the tariff. Gourmet dinners are also
available by prior reservation.
Guest Suites
The spacious grounds of five acres are surrounded by native bush gardens
visited by wallabies, kangaroos and may species of birds. The lodge was
designed and positioned to capture the panoramic vistas over the beach of
Emu Bay, across the island to the ocean beyond from every angle.
All three guest suites overlook these stunning views and feature luxurious
king size beds, neutral decor, reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans,
dimmer lighting, private bathrooms with robes, hairdryer and toiletries. If
you wake early enough you can watch the spectacular sunrises across the bay
from the comfort of your bed.

views, the sea eagles and pelicans soaring above or the ibis feeding in the
front paddock. Move indoors and relax by the fire in our comfy sofas. Treat
yourself to the best coffee on the island from our espresso coffee bar or
make a selection of our extensive range of Twining teas. At Seascape you
will feel like our special houseguest.

Your host's (Jenny and Jean-Pierre) passion for fresh produce and regional
flavours guarantee their fine dining reputation. The menu changes daily and
features Kangaroo Island free-range chicken, fillets of lamb, prime beef,
King George Whiting freshly caught in Emu Bay, scrumptious deserts and
crusty home made bread. Only the freshest seasonal produce is used including
organic vegetables, salads and herbs from our kitchen garden.

Breakfast
Your breakfast is included in the tariff and the choice is yours. Select
from home made bread and jams, croissants, fresh and poached fruits, grains
and muesli, Island Pure sheep milk yoghurt, freshly squeezed juices and our
own free-range organic eggs with choice of accompaniments.
Tours
The specialised private tours take you off the beaten track to discover the
beauty and diversity of Kangaroo Island's wildlife and scenery. Tours are
fully interpretive with an experienced ecologist guide to provide maximum
understanding of Kangaroo Island's history, wildlife and natural wonders
with personalised itineraries to suit your particular interests and special
requests. You have the option of a fully catered gourmet lunch in the bush
or you can purchase a light lunch on tour. After dinner you can join the
nocturnal wildlife and penguin tour that is conducted around the Emu Bay
environs. Tours are conducted in English and alternate language guides are
available on request.
Location
Kangaroo Island is located off the coast of South Australia and is
accessible via ferry from Cape Jervis (on the mainland) to Penneshaw (on
Kangaroo Island) or by flight from Adelaide to Kingscote (on Kangaroo
Island). Seascape is located at Emu Bay with transfers available from
either Kingscote or Penneshaw.
NB: You may take your car on the Sealink ferry from Cape Jervis to Kangaroo
Island. Alternatively car hire can be arranged on Kangaroo Island if
required.
