Built in the early 1850's Honeyfield House combines the best of French country style with the earthy sophistication of Mediterranean living. Constructed of hand hewed limestone and original timbers it has retained the spirit of the past whilst capturing the colour, texture and light of today's vibrant lifestyle.

The cottage is located just 5 minutes from Robe and is surrounded by olive trees and the beauty of the Mount Benson wine region. Outside old fruit trees flourish and the garden is filled with sweet smelling lavender, honeysuckle and the scent of fragrant herbs.

Sensuous in its appeal yet poignant in its simplicity, Honeyfield House is designed for one couple only and lends itself to both short romantic rendezvous' and longer relaxing escapes. It is designed in the style of a traditional French salle' and contains a fully equipped kitchen, living room with stone open fireplace, charming dining area and romantic sleeping space with queen size bed.

The sumptuous bathing area with its floor to ceiling glass wall and sunken bath, looks onto an enchanting private courtyard, heavy with the scent of mint, rosemary and thyme. Modern entertainment options have been unobtrusively integrated into the cottage and include television, video and CD player. It is also air-conditioned for summer comfort and laundry facilities are available.
