Experience spectacular mountains, pristine wilderness and unique flora and fauna on this stunning walk. During this 6 day full-pack bushwalk we visit Tasmania's only true alpine national park, the Walls of Jerusalem. Visiting old growth forests of Pencil Pines and camping by tarns and soaring dolerite cliffs are highlights of this wilderness experience. Our trek traverses an amazing diversity of alpine flora including cushion plants, lemon-scented boronia and mountain rocket. From our camp we head southward taking in Lake Ball and Lake Adelaide, passing groves of Tasmanian Waratah and Snowgums and sightings of wildlife such as wallabies and wombats.
