Coast to Cradle Mountain Trek - 8 Days/7 Nights
(1 night cabin)

Explore the wild and rugged region between Penguin, (a small coastal town in the north of the state) and Tasmania's iconic Cradle Mountain National Park. One of Tasmania's lesser known walking tracks this bushwalk offers a true wilderness experience encountering some of the less visited ranges of Tasmania. As we head south along the 80 km track beginning with coastal views and peaceful pastoral, we soon climb in to the ranges with open woodlands, rainforests, button grass plains, cushion plants and stands of ancient King Billy, Celery Top and Pencil Pines. Walking approximately 15 km per day, carrying packs between 15-20kgs this tour is ideal for those with some bushwalking experience and looking for a new experience of Tasmania. This walk is also ideally combined with our Overland Track from Cradle Mountain to Lake St. Clair.

Inclusions: all meals as specified, professional wilderness guides, backpack, all group camping equipment, national park passes, emergency communications and group first aid kit, transport from Launceston.
