Aircraft - Heron Airlines Premium Air Tours
We have selected the Swearingen Metroliner aircraft. These aircraft are ideally suited for air touring. Powered by twin Allied Signal TPE331 turboprop engines, they cruise at around 500km/h at an altitude of 17,000 feet. Each aircraft is fitted with the latest modern satellite navigation technology as well as an enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System.
The cabin is bright and airy with more leg room than most business class seats. Every traveller has their own window seat for panoramic viewing. To assist with passenger comfort the aircraft is fitted with toilet facilities.

Heron Airlines passengers enjoy the comfort of a twin turbo-charged nine-passenger aircraft. These aircraft are instrument rated, spacious, air conditioned and you are guaranteed a window seat. These aircrafts are ideal for our hard to get to small country airstrips where the Metroliners are unable to land.

Heron Airlines Scheduled Australian Tours
Ground Tours - All the ground tours are conducted by local guides who have a unique and very personal knowledge of their locality and environment. They will lead you on your journey of discovery, showing you the wonders of their own "backyard".
Transfers - Heron Airlines offers Sydney passengers complimentary transfers to and from the Heron Airlines terminal (location limits apply). We offer transfer packages for interstate and New Zealand passengers and can assist with arrangement of flights, transfers and accommodation no matter where you reside.
Single Supplement - For those single travellers that are joining one of our tours we offer a single supplement. However we have a service for those who wish to share but do not wish to take the risk of having to pay the supplement. In such cases, if a suitable fellow traveller is unable to be found then, Heron Airlines waivers the charge.
Baggage - The maximum baggage allowance for domestic tours is 9kgs total, being 7kgs luggage plus 2kgs cabin luggage per person; on our International departures this allowance is 11kgs total, being 9kgs luggage plus 2kgs cabin luggage per person.
Price Guarantee - In these days of fuel surcharges, Heron Airlines guarantees to maintain the cost of your tour once the deposit has been paid.
