The Kimberley "Complete" is a 16 day all overland camping safari from Darwin to Broome and back to Darwin, through the heart of The Kimberley ... a remote and ruggedly spectacular adventureland, one of Australia's great wilderness areas and an increasingly popular destination for outback adventure seekers.

Itinerary
Day 1 (LD): An early start from Darwin will have us in Katherine for lunch before travelling on to Victoria River, our first camp in typical escarpment country.

Day 2 (BD): Lunch (own expense) in Kununurra while we re-fuel and re-supply. On to Wyndham and Five Rivers Lookout before travelling to Doon Doon Roadhouse to camp for the night.

Day 3 (BLD): On past Warmun (Turkey Creek) and into Purnululu (Bungle Bungles) National Park. After lunch we'll walk in Echidna Chasm and see the rich red escarpment of the Bungle Bungle Massif light-up in the setting sun. Kurrajong Camp for two nights.

Day 4 (BLD): A full day to explore the amazing Beehive domes at Piccaninny Creek and stunning Cathedral Gorge. A helicopter flight (optional) over this spectacular area is highly recommended.

Day 5 (BL): On to Halls Creek and our camp at Fitzroy Crossing. Visit Geikie Gorge where you can bushwalk or join a cruise (optional) up the gorge famous for its spectacular limestone sculptures.

Day 6 (BL): Visit Tunnel Creek and walk Windjana Gorge. Visit Derby and its infamous Prison Boab Tree before heading for Broome. Our 6 Day "Discoverer" guests leave us here while our intrepid "16 Dayers" check in to our Broome motel.

Day 7 (B): A day at leisure in Broome. Shopping for Broome's famous pearls, a camel ride at Cable Beach, dinner in Chinatown and a movie at the world's oldest operating outdoor picture theatre could be the formula for a perfect day!

Day 8 (BLD): On the road again, our 9 Day “Explorers” join us this morning. Leaving Broome we head for the Gibb River Road crossing the mighty King Leopold Ranges to our camp at Silent Grove.

Day 9 (BLD): An adventurous day of bushwalking and swimming at Bell and Galvans Gorges. On to Manning Gorge where we camp for the night.

Day 10 (BLD): We leave the Gibb River Road heading for the remote Mitchell Plateau and our camp beside the picturesque King Edward River.

Day 11 (BLD): Drive (conditions permitting) then bushwalk to Mitchell Falls for lunch and a refreshing swim. A scenic helicopter flight (optional) may also be available. Return to our King Edward River camp at the end of an adventurous day.

Day 12 (BLD): Fascinating Aboriginal “Wanjina” and “Bradshaw” rock art this morning. Lunch and a swim then on to Miner's Pool on the Drysdale River to camp for the night.

Day 13 (BL): On the Gibb River Road we will see the magnificent red buttresses of the Cockburn Range glowing in the afternoon sun. Camp and dinner (own expense) tonight at Home Valley Station .

Day 14 (BD): We cross the Pentecost River and drive through El Questro Station on the way to Kununurra for lunch and supplies. Camp at Lake Argyle where you can join a sunset cruise (optional).

Day 15 (BL): New things to see and do along the way to Katherine where we share our last night together.

Day 16 (BL): More activities and fun on the way to Darwin where your adventure in the spectacular Kimberley region comes to an end.

NOTE: Some walks are considered to be “moderate to difficult” requiring a reasonable level of fitness and agility and suitable footwear with good grip soles.

Inclusions And Exclusions
Inclusions: Meals as coded, camping equipment except sleeping bags, all National Parks and Aboriginal Site fees, two nights accommodation in Broome.
Exclusions: All soft and alcohol drinks, Optional tours, items of a personal nature

• A fuel levy of $45.00 per person is payable on board.
