DAY 1: Saturday or Wednesday
Join the Indian Pacific in Sydney
Spend your first night on the Indian Pacific enjoying the panoramic views as you head west through New South Wales into the outback. (D)
DAY 2: Sunday or Thursday
Broken Hill and Adelaide
Explore the unique outback city of Broken Hill on an off train tour before reboarding for the rest of your journey to Adelaide. In Adelaide there's time for another off train tour before you resume your transcontinental journey. (BLD)
With the option to start your holiday in Adelaide, you will board the Indian Pacific at the Adelaide Parklands Rail Terminal.
DAY 3: Monday or Friday
The Nullarbor, Cook, Kalgoorlie
This out of the way stop is at one of the world’s most remote outposts, Cook, where there’s time to stroll around and maybe even meet the town’s seven residents. By evening you’ll be in Kalgoorlie where you can see the world’s largest open-cut gold mine and the rest of the city on an off train tour. (BLD)
DAY 4: Tuesday or Saturday
Perth
When you arrive in Perth you are transferred to Miss Maud Swedish Hotel, your base for the next 2 nights. There’s much to see and do in and around this great city. (B)
DAY 5: Wednesday or Sunday
Perth and Fremantle
Enjoy a city sights tour that includes the historic Port of Fremantle and a cruise on the magnificent Swan River. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. (B)
DAY 6: Thursday or Monday
Perth to Margaret River
Travel by luxury coach to the coastal town of Busselton and marvel at the two kilometre long jetty. Stop at the cape lavender farm to view the beautiful gardens. Continue south to the Margaret River Wine Region to the Lake Cave Tearooms. Head to Mammoth Cave for a guided and pass by Boranup Forest and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse before an opportunity to taste some famous Margaret River Wines. Here you will stay at All Seasons Margaret River. (LD)
DAY 7: Friday or Tuesday
Margaret River to Perth
Browse around town or visit the Margaret River Wine Showroom. Later you’re off sightseeing: enjoy a gourmet Aussie-style BBQ, see behind the scenes as you tour a barrel room and visit The Chocolate Factory, Cheese Factory and a local boutique brewery. Return to Miss Maud Swedish Hotel for the night. (BL)

Perth
