Day 1: Saturday
Darwin
Make your own way to Darwin and check in to Holiday Inn Esplanade Darwin, your base for the next four nights.
Day 2: Sunday
Darwin City
Enjoy a leisurely city sights tour for the perfect introduction to Darwin. Hop on and off the Tour Tub, a fun open-air bus that operates an hourly route around Darwin city. Visit Darwin's major attractions or simply sit back and enjoy the commentary.
Day 3: Monday
Litchfield National Park
This waterfall wonderland is less than two hours from Darwin. First stop is Florence Falls, where you have the opportunity for a scenic and interpretive bush and monsoon vine forest walk. There is also the chance for a swim by making your way down the stairs to the plunge pool below. Travel on to Tolmer Falls for a magnificent view of the water cascading down to the deep waterhole at the base of the falls. Finally, visit Wangi Falls, with its large crystal clear pool, another relaxing spot for a swim. A great day for taking many fascinating photos, including the amazing stand of termite mounds.
Day 4: Tuesday
Darwin
Today is yours to enjoy as you please. Take in any last minute sights, visit the Waterfront Precinct or simply relax in the comfort of your accommodation.
Day 5: Wednesday
The Ghan, Katherine
Join The Ghan in Darwin and travel south past lush tropical scenery on your way to Katherine where you can enjoy an off train tour of Katherine Gorge. Reboard the train for your overnight journey to Alice Springs. (LD)
Day 6: Thursday
The Ghan, Alice Springs
Arrive in Alice Springs to join an off train tour before reboarding the train and enjoying the desert scenery as you continue your journey south overnight. (BLD)
Day 7: Friday
Adelaide
Arrive in Adelaide and making your way to the Grand Chifley Adelaide. The afternoon is at your leisure. (B)
Day 8: Saturday
Barossa Valley
As one of Australia’s oldest and best known winemaking regions, the Barossa Valley provides wine lovers with a memorable experience of some 60 wineries. This intimate tour is designed for the more serious wine lovers and provides a brilliant cross section of the finest wines the Barossa Valley has to offer – Wolf Blass, Beer Bros. Wines and Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop, Barossa Valley Estates, Langmeil Winery and Chateau Tanunda.
Day 9: Sunday
Adelaide City
This morning join your city sights tour of Adelaide, a cosmopolitan blend of European and modern architecture and renowned for its great food, wine and relaxed unwinding lifestyle. This tour is an ideal introduction to the Adelaide way of life. Highlights include: Victoria Square, River Torrens, Colonel Light’s Lookout, Zoological and Botanic Gardens, Adelaide Cricket Oval, Glenelg Beach precinct, Central Market and North Terrace Drive. The rest of the day is yours at leisure.
Day 10: Monday
Adelaide
Today is free to explore Adelaide at your own pace. Why not do a spot of shopping in Rundle Mall or take the tram to the seaside suburb of Glenelg.
Day 11: Tuesday
Indian Pacific, Broken Hill
Join the mighty Indian Pacific in Adelaide. Settle in to the comfort of this great train. Arrive in Broken Hill, where you’ll have time for an off train tour before reboarding the train and continuing your journey east overnight. (LD)

Sydney
Wake to picturesque views as you weave your way into Sydney where your holiday concludes. (B)
