Your first day begins with a light lunch in the Restaurant Car as you travel north towards Spencer Gulf and Port Augusta. (LD)

DAY 2: Monday or Thursday
Arrive Alice Springs
Your afternoon is free to explore Alice Springs. Spend the night at the The Chifley Alice Springs Resort. (B)

DAY 3: Tuesday or Friday
Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Join your coach tour to Uluru and check in to the Desert Gardens Hotel. See Kata Tjuta and the Valley of the Winds. This evening enjoy a majestic outback sunset before a delicious barbecue dinner and stargazing. (BD)

DAY 4: Wednesday or Saturday
Uluru
See and climb Uluru at sunrise or enjoy the Mutitjulu Walk and Kantju Gorge. This evening watch the changing colours of Uluru as the sun sets.

Kings Canyon
This morning is at your leisure. In the afternoon travel to Kings Canyon.

DAY 6: Friday or Monday
Kings Canyon
Today you can enjoy a guided walk to the rim of Kings Canyon (requires a good degree of fitness). Alternatively, join an easier walk along the canyon floor. Return to Alice Springs this afternoon.

DAY 7: Saturday or Tuesday
Alice Springs
A free day to relax or take one of the many fantastic optional tours. (B)

DAY 8: Sunday or Wednesday
Palm Valley and Hermannsburg
A 4WD adventure down Finke River to the oasis setting at Palm Valley and on to Hermannsburg. (BL)

Join The Ghan to Darwin
Late afternoon rejoin The Ghan. (BD)

DAY 10: Tuesday or Friday
Katherine
Look around Katherine or enjoy a Whistle Stop Tour† before completing your journey and checking in to the SKYCITY Darwin for the next 2 nights. (BL)

DAY 11: Wednesday or Saturday
Introducing Darwin
Today hop on and off the Tour Tub, a fun open-air bus that operates an hourly route around Darwin city including stops at various attractions. (B)

DAY 12: Thursday or Sunday
Kakadu National Park
Visit Nourlangie Rock and cruise on Yellow Water Billabong before stopping at Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Check in to Kakadu’s Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn for the night. (BL)

DAY 13: Friday or Monday
Ubirr Art Site, East Alligator River Cruise, Darwin
Join your Guluyambi Cruise, visit the rock art site at Ubirr, the Bowali Visitor Centre and Window on the Wetlands. Enjoy an optional scenic flight (additional cost) before returning to Darwin to stay at the SKYCITY Darwin overnight. (L)

DAY 14: Saturday or Tuesday
Depart Darwin
One last breakfast then it is checkout time. (B)
