Join the mighty Indian Pacific in Sydney. Enjoy a delicious dinner along with view of the Blue Mountains. (D)

Day 2: Sunday or Thursday
Broken Hill and Adelaide
Enjoy the unique outback city of Broken Hill on a Whistle Stop Tour† before reboarding the Indian pacific for the rest of your journey to Adelaide. Transfer to the Rydges South Park Adelaide. The remainder of your day is free. (BL)

Day 3: Monday or Friday
Clare Valley, Flinders Ranges

Head north to the wine regions of the Clare Valley to visit one of the boutique wineries. As the legendary lilac haze of the Flinders Ranges looms closer, you are now in the habitat of Australia’s famous wildlife. From here you travel through vast sheep station country before arriving in the heart of the Flinders Ranges at Wilpena Pound Resort, your accommodation for the next two nights. (BL) Day 4: Tuesday or Saturday Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges, the Prairie Hotel at Parachilna Your guide will take you through Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges, once an ancient seabed where millions of years of history and the oldest fossils of animal life on Earth are preserved. Enjoy lunch at the Prairie Hotel at Parachilna (population of seven). The vibrant colours of the rock faces change through the day, and dusk and dawn are unforgettable. (BL) Day 5: Wednesday or Sunday Flinders Ranges and Adelaide This morning takes you through the Moralana Scenic Drive that provides magnificent views as you travel between Wilpena Pound and Elder Range. Make your way from Quorn through the Pichi Richi Pass to the high country, travel along the coast on your way back to Adelaide. Stay overnight at the Rydges South Park Adelaide. (BL)

Adelaide
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. (B)
