The Overland
There’s no more relaxing way to travel between Melbourne and Adelaide than on the newly refurbished Overland. Now more comfortable than ever, with two levels of service to choose from it’s also a great way to ease into a memorable holiday in either city or their surrounding regions. The Overland’s interior colour scheme is inspired by the colours of the Coonawarra and the Grampians. Plush new reclining seats, great facilities and warm hospitality all merge effortlessly to make your trip glide by in an aura of comfort and enjoyment, so you’ll arrive at your destination relaxed and in time for dinner.

Red Premium Service Cafe Carriage

Red Premium Service guests are served complimentary orange juice / water upon boarding The Overland. Stroll to the licenced Café Carriage for meals or drinks including espresso coffee and if you don’t want to leave your seat, enjoy an a-la-carte meal, snack or drink from our catering trolley.
Luggage
Red Premium Service allows for 50kg of luggage per person. Two items not exceeding 20kg each, one item not exceeding 10kg and all not exceeding 180 linear centimetres). Note: Checked-in luggage cannot be accessed during the journey.

Chairman's Car
The Chairman's Car is a private carriage accommodating up to 8 people in style and comfort. For the ultimate experience on The Overland, you can organise a party of family or friends to travel in this stylish self contained carriage. The Chairman's Car can be added to any leg of The Overland and can be tailored to suit your personal requirements. It boasts a generous lounge with CD player and video entertainment, a private dining room, and sleeps up to eight with two double bedrooms and two twin cabins.
