DAY 1: Thursday
Join the Indian Pacific in Adelaide
Board the Indian Pacific and enjoy dinner as you pass the Southern Flinders Ranges. (D)

DAY 2: Friday
The Nullarbor, Cook, Kalgoorlie
This out of the way stop is at one of the world’s most remote outposts, Cook, where there’s time to stroll around. By evening you’ll be in Kalgoorlie where you can see the world’s largest open-cut gold mine and the rest of the city on an optional Whistle Stop Tour†. (BLD)

DAY 3: Saturday
Perth
Arrive in Perth and transfer to your overnight accommodation at Rydges Perth. Enjoy a city tour of Perth including Kings Park. This evening enjoy a welcome drink and dinner with your fellow travelling companions. (BD)

DAY 4: Sunday
Perth and Margaret River
Travel to the Forest Heritage Centre, deep in the jarrah forest of Dwellingup. Journey south through Busselton, a popular holiday resort, and on to the awe-inspiring Mammoth Cave, home to ancient fossil remains. Continue to Margaret River and your base for the next two nights, the All Seasons Margaret River. (BD)

DAY 5: Monday

Margaret River Travel to the Forest Heritage Centre, deep in the jarrah forest of Dwellingup. Journey south through Busselton, a popular holiday resort, and on to the awe-inspiring Mammoth Cave, home to ancient fossil remains. Continue to Margaret River and your base for the next two nights, the All Seasons Margaret River. (BD) DAY 6: Tuesday Margaret River and Albany View the Gloucester Tree, the highest fire lookout tree in the world. Journey through the spectacular Valley of the Giants with its huge Tingle and Karri trees. Explore the canopy of the magnificent Tingle forest along the Tree Top Walk. Continue to Torndirrup National Park, home to the Natural Bridge and The Gap, then visit Whaleworld. Overnight this evening at the Comfort Inn, Albany. (BD) DAY 7: Wednesday Albany and Esperance Visit the Anzac Memorial and enjoy the panoramic views. Travel to Bluff Knoll Lookout to witness the rugged beauty of the Stirling Ranges. Continue to Esperance and see the famous Pink Lake. Overnight Comfort Inn Bay of Isles, Esperance. (BD) DAY 8: Thursday Cape Le Grand and Kalgoorlie Travel into Cape Le Grand National Park for coastal views and north through Norseman to the historic gold mining township of Kalgoorlie. An orientation tour will reveal unique turn of the century buildings including the famous Exchange Hotel and Hay Street. Settle in to your base for the next two nights, the Quality Inn Railway Hotel, Kalgoorlie. (BD)

DAY 9: Friday
Kalgoorlie
Spend this morning at the Mining Hall of Fame. Try panning for gold, witness gold bullion being poured and go underground for a tour of the Mining Reserve. Visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service for an insight into the work of this great Australian icon. This afternoon explore this gold town at leisure. (B)

DAY 10: Saturday
Wave Rock
Travel through the former ghost town of Coolgardie. Journey to Wave Rock. This striking rock formation, resembling a gigantic wave, was formed from granite over three million years ago. Continue to York before travelling on to Fremantle. Overnight at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle. (BD)

DAY 11: Sunday
Fremantle and Perth
