The Richardson is a striking new boutique hotel, designed by renowned London architect Sir Terry Farrell. Taking a holistic approach to the context and function of the design, the architect has created a structure that is grand and outstanding, yet conservative and pragmatic. Rich textured contemporary décor create a stylish interior with a strong sense of mood, luxury and intimacy. The plush room furnishings and sleek modern lines blend rich golden colours with beiges and beech wood. The LCD flat panel TV and entertainment console offers the latest technology in each suite's separate lounge area. The guest bathrooms fuse clean white porcelain walls, marble top vanity units and picture hung mirrors - creating a relaxed atmosphere. Our accommodation is categorized by size and location with-in the hotel. We refer to each accommodation type by the amount of space available and pride ourselves on our spacious accommodation configurations available. Each of the Richardson's rooms and suites provide all the luxuries and amenities one would expect of a hotel that prides its self on making each visit an enjoyable and memorable experience. Accommodates two persons only. R55 - Deluxe Room - Spacious and contemporary room offering latest in comfort and space - king size bed. Has a separate lounge area, arranged with a sofa, arm-chairs and dining table and a balcony. One suite is equipped with facilities for disabled persons. Approx 55 square metres. Accommodates up to three adults only R80 - Deluxe Two Bedroom - Spacious and contemporary with two bedrooms and two bathrooms - two king size beds. The room has a separate lounge area, arranged with a sofa, arm-chairs and dining table and a balcony. Approx 80 square metres. Accommodates up to three adults. S55 - Deluxe Suite - Located on a higher floor, sixth or seventh floor - Spacious and contemporary room offering latest in comfort and space - king size bed. Each has its own Ipod docking music system and guests receive two hours complimentary internet access. Approx 55 square metres. Accommodates two persons only. S80 - Deluxe Two Bedroom Suite - Located on a higher floor, sixth or seventh floor - Spacious and contemporary with two bedrooms and two bathrooms - two king size beds. The room has a separate lounge area, arranged with a sofa, arm-chairs and dining table and a balcony. These suites have its own Ipod docking music system, and guests receive two hours complimentary internet access. Approx 80 square metres. Accommodates up to three adults. Penthouse Suites - The stylish and elegant 8th floor Penthouse Suites are sure to make any visit memorable! Five of the six suites on this level, derive their names from native hardwood timbers found throughout Western Australia. These special hardwoods have stunning hues and range from pinkish to earthy red, cream to yellowish-honey, golden tan to rich chocolate, through to various shades of sunburnt orange. The magnificently crafted wooden screen in the hotel lobby showcases the natural beauty of these local timbers. Guests have access to an Ipod docking music system and two hours complimentary internet access P75 - Sandalwood Suite - One Bedroom and Study. Features one bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bathroom with a bath, as well as a separate lounge area arranged with a sofa, arm-chairs and dining table. There is a separate study with desk and sofabed which can accommodate an extra person. Approx 75 square metres. Accommodates up to three persons P85 - Tuart Suite - Two Bedrooms. The Tuart Suite has two bedrooms and two bathrooms featuring king and twin beds. They have a separate lounge area arranged with a sofa, arm-chairs and dining table, all opening on to balconies. Approximately 85 square metres. Accommodates up to three adults. P85 - Jarrah and Marri Suite - Two Bedrooms. These two suites are slightly larger in size than The Tuart Suite and feature two bedrooms and two bathrooms with king and twin beds. They have a separate lounge area arranged with a sofa, arm-chairs and dining table, all opening on to balconies. Approx 85 square metres. Accommodates up to three adults. P100 - Karri Suite - Two bedrooms plus study. The Karri Suite has two bathrooms and two bedrooms featuring king and twin beds. They have a separate lounge area arranged with a sofa, arm-chairs and dining table, all opening on to balconies. There is a separate study with desk and sofabed which can accommodate an extra person. Approx 100 square metres. Accommodates up to three adults. P170 - Kings Park Suite - Three Bedrooms and Study. The largest of all our suites, The Kings Park Suite, derives its names from the sensational view of this magnificent park that can be seen from any of its 3 balconies. Featuring 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, and separate lounge area arranged with sofas, arm chairs and dining table. There is also a separate study with desk. Approx 170 square metres. Valet Parking is available for 24 hours periods at a daily rate. The Richardson provides executive limousine transport and the concierge can make arrangements as required.

The Spa Club at The Richardson
All facilities and treatments at The Spa Club are available to hotel residents. Non members can make reservations for spa treatments. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to use The Spa Club facilities, with the exception of the pool where they must be accompanied by a parent.

The Spa Opening Hours: The Spa Club is open for treatments Wednesday to Saturday between 9.30am and 8.30pm; and Sunday to Tuesday between 9.30am and 6.30pm. The Spa is closed all Public Holidays.

Spa Cancellation Policy: A 50% cancellation charge will be incurred for any Treatment or Spa Packages not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to appointment. Cancellation within 12 hours will incur a 100% charge, unless the time is re-assigned.

The Gymnasium and Pool: are open each day from 5.30am to 10.00pm. Outside of these hours when The Spa Reception Desk is closed, the gymnasium, pool and changing facilities are accessible to club members and hotel guests by using the Club Membership Card or The Richardson Hotel Access Card.

Dining at The Richardson
Opus at The Richardson offers Perth's most glamorous dining experience. The refined atmosphere, the attentive yet unobtrusive service and superb cuisine are sure to make a memorable dining experience. Expect inventive cuisine with French origins, hints of the Oriental and modern Australian fresh flavours presented in a seasonal menu reflecting the availability of fresh local produce. Vegetarian and special dietary requirements can be catered for on prior request.

Interior design, by Scott Wilson, has produced a feeling of "modern old-fashioned" elegance which pervades throughout the restaurant, achieved by a combination of sophisticated formal gestures and an indulgent palette of natural materials. The rich, warm, timeless appeal of Opus provides an opulent, luxurious backdrop for superb dining unlike any other Perth restaurant.

Opus boasts its own Wine Annex; the raised semi-private section of the restaurant displays a library of fine wines against a natural stone backdrop. A Private Dining Room is separated from the main restaurant by frameless sliding glazed panels. Designed to comfortably seat fourteen (14) guests, it provides an inviting respite for a private party or special occasion. Opus Restaurant is available for private lunch parties for up to 60 persons and The Conservatory is available in the evenings for private parties with room for 30 guests for an intimate dinner or 70 for a cocktail party.

The small luxurious Cocktail Bar glitters with shades of Classic Calcutta Gold, Onyx Marble and Copper, offset by the padded leather bar front - the perfect atmosphere for an apéritif or your favourite cocktail. Open from 12.00pm to late.

Opus is open every evening for dinner from 6.00pm - last orders 10:00pm
The Conservatory is open for breakfast and lunch daily.

NOTE: Opus Dress Requirements- specific Dress Code from 5.30pm daily - the minimum dress required is Smart Casual. Management reserves the right to refuse entry on a case by case basis. Items of dress not allowed at any time are as follows: no singlets or sleeveless tops for men, no shorts or 3/4 pants, no sports wear, no thongs or men's sandals, no work boots or sneakers, no jeans with holes or cuts.
