Included in the nightly rate is a hot breakfast served in your room. Patrick Plains Estate does not serve evening meals, however you may take advantage of the barbecue facilities available around the pool and sundeck area. For those who prefer to eat out- there is in excess of 70 restaurants in the Pokolbin area making your choice a little difficult. Your dining options range from fine dining through to alfresco or café style or just plain take away. The staff at Patrick Plains Estate will be happy to offer advice based on your food choice and preferred dining option and will assist with arrangements for shuttle services to nearby restaurants.
There are over 100 tours, adventures, attractions and galleries for you to see and experience in the Hunter Valley region. Our main feature is the ambience and romanticism of the area. This is Wine Country. The key activity for guests to our area is tasting award winning wines from any of the 110 wineries all located in close proximity to Patrick Plains Estate. You can take a tour through McWilliams, Hunter Estate, Tyrells, Rothbury Estate or Hungerford Hill wineries if you wish.
For those of you wanting some activity during your stay why not try- Golfing at Cypress Lakes or The Vintage, hot air ballooning or a helicopter flight to see this magnificent area from above or stay on the ground and try cycling or simple sight-seeing activities.

647 Hermitage Road, Pokolbin, New South Wales
From Sydney, take the F3 Freeway at Wahroonga on Sydney's North Shore, heading north to Newcastle. After approximately one hour take the Cessnock/Vineyards exit. Follow the signs to Cessnock(30km) and then towards Branxton. 8km from Cessnock turn left into Broke Road just after Cessnock Airport. 4km along Broke Road take a quick left and right turn and continue along Broke Road for 6km and turn right into Hermitage Road. From here we are 6km on the right hand side.
From the North turn into Hermitage Road off the New England Highway between Branxton and Singleton. This road is signposted "Pokolbin" and "Vineyards". From here we are 6½km on the left hand side.
