Dining at Eaglereach
Treehops Restaurant - offers a la carte fine dining set amongst the treetops at Eaglereach. The style is modern Australia along with a selection of traditional country favourites. The menu changes seasonally to allow our chefs to always utilise the freshest of local Hunter produce. Every Friday evening there is a Hunter wine tasting prior to dinner. An optional vegetarian menu is well regarded even by dedicated carnivores.
Yackatoon Bar - The Yackatoon Bar is open every evening with a roaring wood fire in winter and air-conditioned in summer. Relax with a cocktail or choose from a wide selection of premium Hunter wines, enjoy a beer or just curl up with your favourite coffee.
Observatory Deck - Located at canopy level, with majestic views to the Eastern seaboard and alive with native animals and birdlife, is the recently opened Observatory Deck. The deck is a great location for photo opportunities. Stargazing is another popular pastime from the deck with a port after dinner.
Picnic Hampers - Why not explore the many areas of the resort with a gourmet picnic hamper? In-lodge Catering - For the total indulgence we can provide a chef for the evening for personal in-lodge catering. Sit back, relax and allow our chef to arrange your meal. Food to go- See our reception staff for a range of deli items, nibbles and beverages throughout the day as well as gourmet takeaway and homemade country pizzas fresh from the Eaglereach kitchen.
One of most satisfying aspects of the Eaglereach success has been the universal appeal of a "wilderness resort" to both domestic and international visitors alike, in what was previously thought of as a niche market for those adventurers looking for an experience where the standard of accommodation, food and beverage was an after thought. So it is possible to combine a nature based experience with the best superior accommodation in Australia. It has been done here. Future plans, include suspension walkways at canopy level in the rain forest and a star gazing deck.
