Although the island gates are locked between 10pm and 5am, the guard-house is manned 24 hours a day and 2 mobile guards patrol the estate at all times.

To get to Sovereign Islands, head South from Brisbane on the Pacific Highway. Turn left at Oxenford (Exit 57) and head towards the coast. Access to the Islands is via a bridge opposite Paradise Point.
Two minutes from Aqua Villa is Paradise Point. Here you will find a small supermarket, pharmacy, medical centre, bottle shop, newsagent, butcher, bakery, florist, five hairdressers, six real estate agents and eight eateries. This is also a delightful park adjacent to the beach.
