Your Guide to the Red Centre
John (Joc) - went to Alice Springs in December 1988, and loved the area so much he has
been there ever since. The areas we visit around Alice Springs feature stunning landforms
that have to be seen to be believed.
This sunburnt land is a beautiful piece of the world and holds special significance to the
aboriginal people who roamed around here thousands of years ago, as well as the 27,000
residents who call Alice Springs home today. Joc feels privileged to be living there and
looks forward to sharing it with you.
Joc has been a professional tour guide throughout the Central Australian region since
November 1999. He was trained by the leaders in premium and luxury coach tour services,
but believes he can do an even better job now, with his passion for the Northern
Territory's "Red Centre". "My passion is sharing my knowledge of the
area, ensuring that whoever travels with Outback Private Tours enjoys the best the region
has to offer."
