Circa, The Prince Restaurant
In a hotel as hip as this, it's no surprise to find a restaurant that's been described as a 'full blown piece of theatre'. A low dark lobby and sunken courtyard help create ambience, but it's the innovative post-classical cooking that will win you over. The 600 strong wine list does little to deter. Eclectic and unrestrained, 'circa' is there to make your meal a pleasure.
Mink - offers velvet curtained booths, 70+ varieties of vodka, an impressive range of Cuban cigars and superb casual dining. A new experience for many in The Prince Hotel.
And if you love pastry then who could go past Il Fornaio? A bakery and café that offers French style pastries and breads for breakfast, lunch or light snacks.
The Prince Wine Store features a wide range of labels to suit both novice and avid collector. It also stocks a comprehensive range of beers, spirits, cigars, glassware, decanters wine magazines and textbooks. The temperature controlled cellar is also ideal for tastings, seminars and small private dinners. Open from 11am to 11pm, 7 days a week.
Prince of Wales is the stalwart of St Kilda. Located right on the corner of Acland Street and Fitzroy Street and right where the locals meet.
The Prince of Wales is like stepping back a generation to the heart of St Kilda - bohemian, maverick and decidedly nonconformist. The Prince Bars have always been a "come as you are" venue.
Holding dear the rock n roll spirit of the 70's and a gay tradition that goes back to the 40's, the Prince is a truly diverse animal.
Private Dining can be arranged in The Olive Room or The Private Room at Circa, The Prince.
With French doors opening onto a sun drenched Mediterranean courtyard, The Olive Room is a stylish room that can seat up to 20 guests. You may begin your special event in the courtyard enjoying Champagne and canapes before moving into the room for lunch or dinner.
The Olive Room interior comprises plush olive banquettes and a fire place that is perfect for the winter months.
The Private Room flows through in style and design from the main dining room with luxurious pink curtains, black organza and two sets of French doors which open onto a balcony overlooking Fitzroy Street.
The room can accommodate up to 40 guests on round or oval tables.
