Built between 1837 and 1853, Peppers Calstock is a stunning example of Tasmania's grand pioneering homes. Retaining many original features, including marble fireplaces, high ceilings with decorative architraves and cedar floors, the house has been carefully restored to its former glory.

Offering seven elegant rooms and two magnificent suites, there is a range of beautifully appointed accommodation options to choose from. You will find each spacious room has been individually decorated in French provincial style with fine fabrics and rich wooden furnishings.

King Spa Room - Chambre Ivoire Softly coloured and spacious, this guestroom is perfect for relaxing - featuring a king size bed and lounge area. From the large windows are views of the gardens, forest walk and across the estate to the township of Deloraine. The elegant en-suite contains a shower and spa.

Spa King Room - Chambre Cerise This luxurious room features a king size bed, rich, dark red colourings and romantic Georgian style furnishings. From the windows there are panoramic views of the estate's surrounds. The spacious en-suite also features a shower and spa. Located in the main house, with king size beds, spa baths and panoramic garden views.

Queen Deluxe Room - Chambre Bleue
This stunning room has a queen size bed and provides wonderful views of both the east and south of the estate. The beautiful soft toile fabrics and colouring make this a charming, romantic room.

Queen Deluxe Room - Chambre Verte This bright, lively room has a queen size bed and features classical Greco-Roman furnishings. The large en-suite contains an enormous shower and bath. This room overlooks the gorgeous courtyard, stables and surrounding tranquil farmland. Located upstairs in the main house the spacious Deluxe Queen Rooms feature queen size beds with views out over the garden and to the fountain courtyard.

Two Bedroom Suite - Suite Automne
This large two bedroom family suite is located on the lower level of the house with views to the courtyard and gardens. Featuring private access to the veranda, large bathroom facilities and wheelchair access. With a queen size bed in the master room and twin beds in the second bedroom, Automne accommodates 4 people.

Twin Room - Suite Rustique
Located in the West wing of the house, this suite has a separate lounge with tea, coffee facility, television and a twin bedroom with ensuite shower and is beautifully decorated.

Garden Queen Rooms (3) - Champagne, Ebene, and Mauve Located in the west wing on the ground floor Garden Queen Rooms feature queen size beds with views out to the fountain courtyard.

This gastronomic journey features local seasonal ingredients and an exquisite international wine list (minimum 48 hours notice required).We are also delighted to package together gourmet picnic hampers at your request.

The historic Peppers Calstock house is situated 45 minutes from Launceston in Deloraine and stages personalised boutique style conferences and events with an emphasis on the individual, quality service, style and food. Our hands on staff will take care of your group from the original booking through to the final last minute touches.

Calstock’s conference and meeting facilities include a small informal Dining Room perfectly suited to an executive meeting of up to 10 delegates seated board room style. The lounge and delightful verandah joined to the room are ideal as breakout areas.

The retreat can also cater for small events and gatherings such as business celebrations, product launches and cocktail receptions (50 guests for a cocktail function or for 20 guests dining). Peppers are renowned for superb food and for conferences the celebration of everything gastronomic continues. The Dining Room offers a wide selection of three, four and six course menus for your delegates to enjoy.
