Accommodation at Bloomfield Lodge
Bloomfield Lodge comprises 17 individually designed natural timber retreats which encircle the main lodge. Each site has been specially chosen for its naturally beautiful surroundings and every guest room and retreat has a veranda with stunning views of the rainforest or Weary Bay. All have ensuite facilities and are serviced daily. Complimentary guest laundry facilities are also available.

Communications - Bloomfield Lodge is remote and mobile phones do not work, however, there are direct-dial telephones in each room and a fax is available at the Bloomfield Lodge office. Internet access is not available, except in an emergency. Bloomfield Lodge generates its own electricity on a 240v system. All rooms have a UK 13 amp socket, so no adaptors required.

Adjacent to the main lodge area, the Rainforest Rooms provide comfortable accommodation within easy reach of all the main facilities with views of the rainforest and partial sea view. Each room has a verandah and outdoor seating for relaxing after the day’s activities. Located close to the pool and restaurant, these beautiful rooms are a comfortable and affordable retreat.

Rainforest Rooms are filled with natural light by large windows that make the most of the serene view. The Queenslander - Bloomfield Lodge
These high-ceilinged, spacious rooms are situated in a pretty terrace of four overlooking Weary Bay, perfectly sited to catch the sea breeze. Each room has a generous verandah and outdoor seating for relaxing after the day's activities. The Queenslander rooms are within easy walking distance of the main Lodge and all facilities. A separate suite, spread over two floors with a shared bathroom, offers family style accommodation in two double beds for up to 4 guests.

Getting to Bloomfield Lodge
Awaken your spirit of adventure on a spectacular flight over the Coral Sea to the heart of the rainforest and the enchanting seclusion of Bloomfield Lodge. From the peaceful surrounds of the VIP lounge in Cairns, board your privately chartered plane for the scenic flight to Bloomfield Lodge.

Transfer Timings - Flights normally depart for Bloomfield Lodge at 09.00 and return to Cairns by 11.00. It is recommended you stay in Cairns the night before your Bloomfield Lodge stay. Exact timings of your courtesy car collection will be confirmed by fax to your hotel the night before your transfer to Bloomfield Lodge.

Baggage - Due to aircraft size, baggage is restricted to one small bag per person of 7kg. The informal dress code at Bloomfield Lodge means that travelling light does not normally cause any inconvenience. If returning to the same hotel in Cairns you should arrange to leave your main baggage with the concierge if possible; after your stay, if returning to a different Cairns hotel or travelling onwards your main baggage may be stored at the Hinterland Aviation terminal in Cairns. Please ensure that you bring all items of a personal nature with you as lack of road access to the lodge means that regular supplies other than food and drink are restricted.
