Become a lazy beachcomber or an inquisitive adventurer on your 7 night island-hopping voyage of discovery. An incredible underwater world will be revealed to you at our numerous exclusive reef sites. Our informative crew will always be on hand to provide assistance and information about the fascinating reef life and habitat.
Join our Marine Biologist aboard the glass bottom boat or go snorkeling amongst the brilliant corals and teeming marine life on the fringing reefs of Lizard Island and our exclusive Pelorus Island.. Our experienced Dive Instructor will also be there to offer you the exhilarating experience of scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef.
Make use of the resort facilities at Dunk Island or simply enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of these wonderful tropical islands and coastline. With our open bridge policy and a maximum of just 50 passengers, your environmental experience aboard our award winning 35 metre expedition style cruise ships, Coral Princess and Coral Princess II, will be both personal and memorable.
Day 1: Tuesday - Board your Coral Princess vessel at Breakwater Terminal at 12.30 for a 1.00pm departure. Cruise the Palm Group of Islands.

Day 2: Be our guest on our exclusive Pelorus Island with its magnificent fringing reef, beach and rainforest. Enjoy a beach BBQ ashore. Cruise the spectacular Hinchinbrook Channel and the Family Group of Islands. Visit Dunk Island resort and enjoy a guided rainforest walk.
Day 3: Full day exploring Thetford and Moore Reefs to enjoy excellent snorkeling, coral viewing, scuba diving and reef fishing.
Day 4: Arrive into Cairns at 1.30pm. You have a couple of hours to enjoy what this city has to offer, before returning to your Coral Princess vessel at 4pm for a 5pm departure. Enjoy a glass of champagne on the top deck as you watch the sun set.
Day 5: Visit one of the remote uninhabited islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy a swim or glass bottom boat trip. Later this morning we cruise onto historical Cooktown. It was here that Captain Cook took refuge during his voyage of discovery. Visit Cooktown’s historical museum featuring original artifacts recovered from James Cook’s vessel - the Endeavour. Cooktown is steeped in history with most stone buildings dating back almost a century. Enjoy what this town has to offer.
Day 6: Arrive at Lizard Island. Climb the island peak that Captain James Cook climbed back in 1770. Enjoy the spectacular views. Or if you wish, snorkel off the beach over coral cays. Discover giant clams and a profusion of fish. Enjoy a glass bottom boat trip with the Marine Biologist or a scuba dive with our Dive Instructor. Later we cruise to Ribbon Reef No 9 where you will have time to further enjoy the water activities on offer.

Day 7: Spend the day exploring Ribbon Reef No 3 and Rachel Carson Reef. These two magnificent reefs offer some of the best snorkeling, and scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy a guided snorkeling tour, or allow our Marine Biologist to show you the beauty of the reef aboard our glass bottom boat. This day will be your last to enjoy the reef through scuba so allow our Dive Instructor to guide you on a dive you will remember for a lifetime.
Day 8: Arrive Cairns Trinity Wharf 8:00am.
