Our private touring options are designed especially for individuals, couples and small groups and as such, our clients are assured of personal attention and comfort – it is like having your own personal aircraft at your disposal.

Originally, Big Blue Air Touring offered a single itinerary called “The Outback Explorer" where we visit the great Australian Outback over 4 days and in fact cover 4 states. We stay at working cattle or sheep stations and we dine with the owners. Accommodation ranges from clean and comfortable, yet basic Shearer's quarters, allowing a true Australian experience, Outback pub's and superior homestead accommodation.

Corporate Events with Big Blue
Along with private touring, Big Blue specialises in Incentives and Groups program design and implementation. We have access to over 90 aircraft in Melbourne, Sydney and Ayers Rock and work beside our many close contacts in the country to offer our valued clients "instant Outback access".

A Big Blue experience revolves around one key element and that is to get our visitors to the Outback in total comfort and safety and up close and personal with the real bush men and women who are at its dramatic core.

The types of incentives that Big Blue have been involved with to date:
- a 24 hour Outback experience for 30 Formula 1 motor racing VIP's. Flight down the Great Ocean Road at low level over the 12 Apostles then landing on the private airstrip of a fine wool sheep station on the banks of the Murray River. Shearing demonstration, wine and cheese appreciation by a Barossa Valley wine grower, VIP tents (fully carpeted, wooden beds, lighting etc) around the campfire, performance by an award winning Australian singer/songwriter…and more.

- a day trip in 7 aircraft, to a famous winery for lunch and a tasting, then a scenic flight down the Great Ocean Road and into Melbourne by twilight.

- trip from Melbourne to Adelaide via an amazing Outback station stop-over, 3 course gourmet Aussie barbecue, silver service style lunch on the river bank complimented by an aboriginal playing the didgeridoo in the background.

- a black tie dinner on the salt beds of Lake Eyre with a dramatic light show to finish the evening. Accommodation in the VIP tents at “Muloorina” Station.

- a 2-3 day Outback experience at The Prairie Hotel and “Nilpena” Station

- pre-dinner drinks at the base of the massive red sand hills, dinner in the woolshed with an Australian award winning artist providing the entertainment. Excursions within the Flinders Ranges.

- a camp-oven cook out around the campfire at “Kars” Station, NSW

With all these trips Big Blue would design, arrange and implement them from start to finish, including executive car pick-up and drop off to and from hotels if required. We have the aircraft, the pilots, the Outback venues and contacts to cater for any group from 1-150 in numbers.
