Ayers Rock to Sydney - "Uluru, Opals and Opera House" - 4 Days/3 Night
Day 1
Executive car transfer from your hotel in Sydney.
Departing Ayers Rock we enjoy a scenic flight over The Rock and the The Olgas. Lunch enroute to our first night’s destination is at Cooper Pedy. Here we enjoy lunch in the unique underground café, followed by a tour of this intriguing opal mining town, nestled deep in the South Australian outback.
After the tour we take off for the world renowned Prairie Hotel in the town of Parachilna, population 5. Indulge this evening at dinner in the hotel restaurant, choosing from the outback menu with such Australian delicacies as a mixed platter of kangaroo fillet, goat chop, camel sausage and emu patty.
Day 2
Depart the Prairie Hotel after breakfast for Kars Station, where we stay with the owner, Fred Hughes. Once at Kars there is free time to wander around and visit the local school house museum on the station, after a private tour of the property with Fred. Pre-dinner drinks is in the courtyard followed by a traditional Aussie BBQ. Relax and enjoy the outback stars.
Day 3
Depart Kars for the Lazy River Estate, Dubbo, where we will have lunch at a winery in this friendly New South Wales country town. Then it’s time to fly off to the ethereal Tower Lodge situated in the Hunter Valley wine growing region, for our final night. Dinner tonight is at the Lodge’s highly acclaimed restaurant - ‘Roberts’.
Day 4
After breakfast we are taken on a private guided tour of several local well known wineries in this beautiful region. Depart the Hunter Valley for a short picturesque flight to Bankstown Airport in Sydney, overflying the famous harbour and Opera House. Executive car transfer to your hotel in Sydney.
