A Taste of Wine and Outback - (Sydney to Adelaide) - 4 Days/3 Nights
Day 1
Executive car transfer from your hotel in Sydney. Depart Sydney’s Bankstown airport, overflying the famous harbour and Opera House before a short picturesque flight to the Hunter Valley. Sample some of the regions fine wines at lunch. Enjoy a private guided tour of several well known local wineries. Stay the night at the intimate and luxurious Tower Lodge with dinner at the highly acclaimed restaurant ‘Roberts’.
Day 2
Depart the Lodge after breakfast and fly to Kars Station, a 150,000 acre sheep property 60km south east of Broken Hill. Enroute we stop for lunch at the Lazy River Estate, Dubbo. At Kars there is free time to wander around and visit the local school house museum on the station, after a private tour of the property with the owner, Fred Hughes. Pre-dinner drinks in the courtyard followed by a traditional Aussie barbecue.
Relax and enjoy the outback stars.
Day 3
We leave Kars after breakfast for North Bundaleer homestead, which offers a secluded and indulgent homestead experience, with kangaroos and wonderful bird life in a natural Blue Gum environment. After lunch on the lawns of the North Bundaleer homestead, we enjoy a private guided tour of the Clare Valley wineries. Dinner is a relaxed and ‘slow food’ 5 course affair, before retiring to bed in this grand and majestic homestead.
Day 4
After a leisurely breakfast we take a guided tour of the property. Lunch in the garden is followed by our last sector to Adelaide Airport. Executive car transfer to your hotel in Adelaide.
