Driving to Falls Creek
The Bogong High Plains Road is regularly cleared of snow, making it one of the most accessible alpine journeys within Australia. Breath taking scenery along the way is an added bonus, Carrying wheel chains is essential and diesel vehicles need alpine mixture which is available at Mt. Beauty. Anti freeze should be added to your radiator, preventing engine freezing in cold temperatures.

Drive/Coach Alternative
Drive to Mt. Beauty then leave your vehicle at the coach terminal secure parking. Relax in the heated coaches and appreciate the beauty of the Alps as you are transported to within 100metres of your front door. During winter, numerous services depart to Falls creek every day.
