N.B. All Apartments (except Onyx studio) have a single garage space. Each garage has a remote control access. When you first arrive you will need to obtain the remote from inside the garage you will find it hanging up at the rear of your garage. Please call us on the day of your arrival for your access code. The Onyx Studio apartments only have access to the single garage space only if the adjoining apartment is not booked - however, overnight parking is also available in Overnight Car Park 2 and Overnight Car Park 3 - both are only a very short walk.

STUDIO = (Onyx 2A) -The studio apartment sleeps 2-3 persons comfortably. The bedding is a King bed plus a double sofa lounge suitable for that extra person. This apartment has one large modern bathroom with disabled services. The mountains are an awesome backdrop with spectacular views from your apartment.

1 BEDROOM and LOFT = (Onyx 2B) -The one bedroom apartment has the added benefit of a separate loft bedroom so can comfortably sleep 4 persons. A King bed is in the main bedroom with 2 x singles in the loft and a single rollaway bed is available if required. A spacious kitchen and living area and one bathroom completes this apartment style. This apartment has a deck with an outdoor setting and a courtyard area.

2 BEDROOM and LOFT = (Onyx 1) - For the larger family combination the 2x bedroom and loft Onyx apartments are ideal with sleeping for 6 persons. Two separate bedrooms have a Queen in the main room with 2 x singles in the 2nd bedroom and in the added loft bedroom you will also find a queen bed. Relax with an après ski drink and take in the beautiful mountain views from the private balcony of your apartment.

2 BEDROOM and LOFT = (Onyx 2) - This apartment style will comfortably sleep 6-8 persons. You will find a King bed in the main bedroom, 2 x singles in the 2nd bedroom and a King bed in the loft. There are also 2 x rollaway beds available if required. The apartment has 2x bathrooms for your convenience. The kitchen is generous in size and you will be able to relax and unwind in the open plan living/lounge area.

2 BEDROOM and LOFT = (Ice 1) – This 2 bedroom apartment boast 2 x bathrooms also for your convenience. One bathroom is styled as a disabled open plan bathroom. Ice 1 has an outdoor courtyard area ideal for the children as a private escape.

3 BEDROOMS = (Ice 2) - A modern style 3 bedroom full size apartment with 2 x bathrooms. One bathroom has a large bath with spa jets which are a luxury at the end of a long day on the slopes. This apartment has an outdoor courtyard area and a small verandah accessible from the lounge area.

3 BEDROOMS = (Ice 3) - relax in the comfort of this spacious 3 bedroom apartment also with 2 x bathrooms. Both of these bathrooms boast large baths with spa jets. A great way to soothe those tired muscles after a full days skiing. Ice 3 also extends with a small verandah off the lounge area and an outdoor courtyard area.

Powder apartments offer great flexibility for any size group. It is possible for the 2 x studio apartments to interconnect and also for a studio apartment to interconnect with a 2 bedroom apartment if required. For maximum numbers of guests the 2 x 2 bedroom apartments can also be interconnecting offering privacy when required but an open house affair also.

STUDIO = (Powder 2A and 3A) - Sleeps 2-3 Persons. The bedding configuration can be either King bed or 2 x Singles plus a double sofa. The modern bathroom is separate and a large lounge area is great for relaxing after a day on the slopes.

2 BEDROOMS = (Powder 2B and 3B) - Sleeps 5 Persons. Suitable for a family or a group of singles traveling together. Bedding can be either a King or Queen bed plus a King or 2 x Singles plus a Single rollaway bed. Comes with 2 x Bathrooms to be shared and the pleasure of a 5 person spa on the balcony- invigorating in winter and refreshing in summer- awesome mountain views.

3 BEDROOMS - This is a combination of a studio and a 2 bedroom apartment. As the apartments are interconnecting we are able to provide this option for larger families or small groups. Sleeps 6-8 persons. Great for a corporate incentive event.

Getting There:
By Car - Your ticket to the divine alpine is just 6 hours drive from both Sydney and Melbourne and just 2 hours from Canberra. If you are cruising to the mountains from Sydney once on the Eastern Distributor there are only a few sets of traffic lights to Thredbo. From Melbourne the fully sealed Kosciuszko Alpine Way is your scenic window.

From Jindabyne, turn left onto Kosciuszko Alpine Way. Turn right onto Friday Drive (1st turn into Thredbo Village). Then take 1st left after the roundabout onto Chimneys Way. Drive down Chimneys Way past McKenzie Pl, take the 1st turn on your left, unmarked driveway that runs between the Ice, Onyx and Powder Apartments. Ice Apartments are on the corner, the 1st block of units on your left. Powder Apartments are the 2nd block of units on your left and Onyx are on the corner, the 1st block on your right.

The roads are clear for most of the year, but when the big snowfalls hit, chains may be required for 2 wheel drives. Chains can be hired in Jindabyne and Khancoban. When hiring they will need to know your tyre size and be sure to ask them about any fitting tips. A tip from us is to practise fitting your chains and also make sure you pack an old blanket to use when fitting them.

The National Parks and Wildlife Service collect park use fees upon entry to the park. You can purchase your pass from the Entrance Station 13km before you get to Thredbo, the Snowy Region Visitors Centre in Jindabyne, the National Parks Visitors Centre in Khancoban, or the Thredbo Newsagency.

By Air - All major airlines fly into Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne and transfers can be arranged for you. Regional airlines also fly in to Cooma and we can assist in getting you to Thredbo from here also.

Parking - Thredbo has over 2,500 car park spaces available with both day and overnight parking. Many lodges, apartments and chalets have on-site parking so check when booking. During winter a free shuttle bus service operates around the village and to Friday Flat. In the evening the shuttle service operates until 9pm Sunday to Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. In the summertime there is no shuttle service but stacks of parking (the weather is so gorgeous it makes a nice stroll).
