Set back from the buzz of Hermitage Road, the guesthouse building is nestled between the property’s private eight acre vineyard and natural bushland. There are five suites located on the ground floor with French doors opening out to the large verandah that spans the building. For those wanting a little more privacy, three suites are located on the first floor, offering sweeping vineyard and mountain views.

Not only is the Hunter Valley one of the most exciting wine regions to visit, it has the added bonus of being a wonderful playground for adults. Getting to Spicers Vineyards Estate - Pokolbin
From Sydney: Take the Sydney Newcastle Freeway (F3) and head north towards Newcastle. Once you travel through Morisset, keep an eye out for the Cessnock/Kurri Kurri Exit on your left. Follow all signs to Cessnock until you reach town and turn right onto Vincent St (the very first set of lights you will arrive at). Follow Vincent St to the end and turn left at the lights onto Wollombi Rd. Take an immediate right onto Allandale Rd. Allandale Rd becomes Wine Country Drive. Follow Wine Country Drive past the Cessnock Airport and information centre and take your next left onto Broke Rd. Follow Broke Rd until the ‘T’ intersection and take a left and immediate right to stay on Broke Rd. Follow Broke Rd until you see Tyrrell’s winery on your left, and take the next right hand turn onto Hermitage Rd. Spicers Vineyards Estate is approximately 7km along Hermitage Rd, on your right hand side.

From Newcastle: Head out towards the Hunter Valley on the New England Highway. Pass through Branxton and Lower Belford, look out for the ‘Vineyards’ sign on your left and turn left onto Hermitage Rd. Travel approximately 5kms and Spicers Vineyards Estate is located on your left hand side - you will see the large property sign.
