Our high-speed vessel has a planing hull and is capable of speeds up to 34 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 25 knots. Tour duration – Suggested departure time 9.00am, return 5.00pm Day Charter to the Outer Great Barrier Reef - Day charters to the Outer Great Barrier Reef head to Tongue and Opal Reefs situated on the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef, travel time approx I hour and 15 minutes. Guests can snorkel or dive pristine reef sites before lunch. A sumptuous lunch is served on the top deck looking out over the reef. After lunch guests can choose to remain at the Great Barrier Reef and explore another site, or alternatively visit Low Isles on the return trip. Port Douglas - Marina Mirage is the home port for the magnificent and opulent cruiser-Enterprise. This vessel is at the ultra-luxury end of the market and caters mainly to celebrities and CEO’s as well as the romantics determined to make a statement to someone special in a big way.

Before cruising or on your return take a few days to explore the surrounding Port Douglas environs. The main street, Macrossan Street, is home to swanky boutiques, funky bars, chic galleries, classy eateries and cashed-up national and international tourists. Yet the town, 70km north of Cairns, has mainly avoided the beachfront high-rise development that has plagued coastal hot-spots further south on the Queensland coastline.

It’s neighbours - the Daintree, Cape Tribulation National Park and Mossman Gorge - don't do its reputation any harm, either. Enjoy the natural beauty of this tropical heaven. Four Mile Beach is truly like stepping into a postcard, with palm trees dangling their fronds over the peach-coloured sand and coconuts dotted along the water's edge.

The Port Douglas Reef and Rainforest Carnivale, held annually in May, is an ideal time to visit the town weather-wise and brings something extra to the trip with a series of wine and food events, performances, art exhibits, a parade and a family beach day.

Getting to Port Douglas
Virgin Blue and Qantas both offer daily flights from many Australian cities to Cairns International Airport putting the pleasures of the tropical North Queensland right at your door step. Transfers can easily be arranged for the short drive north. Just ask!
