The heart and soul of Altitude One40 is the open plan living. Unparalleled 270 degree views encompass this uniquely designed award winning retreat. For your comfort Altitude One40 is fully air conditioned and screened, with the exception of the living area that has huge sliding doors that open to up to the timber balcony to allow the sunshine and cool breezes in.
This beautiful fully self contained home boasts an ultra modern Chefs granite and stainless steel gourmet kitchen designed to make holiday catering a pleasure. For the caffeine lover - enjoy the Delonghi Nespresso cartridge coffee machine. Spacious living and dining areas offer high quality modern and contemporary leather furnishings and sumptuous finishings decorated with subtle splashes of green, blue and white colour.
The private elevated master suite with its King Bed and spacious walk-in robe, provides panoramic views of Mission Beach just by lifting your head from the pillows. The stunning ensuite has double basins and a glass shower with its own glorious views of the rainforest. At Altitude One40 all high quality linen is provided and you can enjoy a great nights sleep beneath your fabulous Sheridan sheets.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 and the second bathroom are located at the eastern end of Altitude One40 and both share the same stunning views as the living area and master suite. Bedroom 4, overlooking the rainforest, is appointed with two king singles that can be converted to a King Bed. LCD televisions are located in all of the 4 bedrooms.
All guests receive a complimentary gift hamper upon arrival at Altitude One40 that includes a fruit platter, bottle of wine and fresh flowers.
Accommodation Rates at Altitude One40 - This beautiful property is sold on a whole house basis, however for couples travelling alone some bedrooms can be locked down and price will reflect this, although you still have access to all the property facilities, privacy and secluded location.
Children at Altitude One40 - We encourage guests with children under the age of 15 years to contact us prior to booking. As Altitude ONE40 is set on the edge of a steep escarpment, and with direct access to dense tropical rainforest, we do not believe the property is suitable for every child and reserve the right to assess each enquiry on a case by case basis. Nanny services can also be arranged upon request, subject to availability.

Dining at Altitude One40 Mission Beach
Maintaining the peace, seclusion and privacy of Altitude ONE40 for all guests is of paramount importance, therefore we offer a provisioning service allowing you enjoy a pre-ordered fully stocked pantry on arrival. Gourmet or Standard pantry order forms are available on request, and should be completed and returned a minimum of 2 weeks prior to arrival.
Altitude ONE40 always endeavours to provide the freshest locally sourced ingredients, biodynamic or organic where possible and we are very lucky to live in an area that has some outstanding food suppliers, Jervoise Organic Meats, Mungalli Biodynamic Dairy, and Mt Uncle Distillery just to name a few.
Although secluded, Altitude ONE40 guests can look forward to dining out at the many restaurants within a 5 minute drive (the house compendium details all our recommended restaurant choices) while The Village Green at Mission Beach has a selection of stores including a Health Food store that supplies a full range of Organic seasonal fruit and vegetables, a grocery store and butchers.
We are happy to facilitate a combination of all of the above and given sufficient notice we are able to meet most special dietary requirements.

Altitude One40 Location and Transfers
Altitude One40 is located at Narragon Beach, just a 2 minute drive north of Mission Beach- North Queensland. Mission Beach is a relaxed, yet vibrant beachfront town with over 14 kilometres of magnificent golden sandy beaches. Here two World Heritage areas, The Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics Rainforest, come together to form a tropical paradise. In many places, the rainforest literally fringes stretches of pristine golden beach, giving Mission Beach a reputation as an ideal natural holiday choice.

Getting There
Mission Beach is situated 90 minutes drive south of Cairns, or 45 minutes by helicopter. Transfers can also be arranged by Limousine, coach or private car hire and can be arranged in conjunction with your Altitude One40 booking. On arrival at Clump Point Jetty you will be personally guided to Altitude One40 - there is no signage thus ensuring privacy at all times.
