Villa Empat Puluh Dua has four levels of absolute perfection. Spilling in a series of levels down a steep hillside, the villa makes use of space with multiple timber decks and terraces that offer private, tranquil retreats for outdoor relaxation, as well as being an ideal platform for entertaining. The villa has seven spacious bedrooms, 3 x king sized and 4 x queens, that accommodate up to 14 people. The seven bedrooms were created with the option to be blacked out for day time sleeping so the design accommodates closed in areas. The rooms are individually designed to reflect the classic Asian feel, using beautiful Designers Guild fabrics and Grange wrought iron and cane furniture imported from France. Timber louvers on all the bedroom windows protect against the hot tropical sun, and each room has a ceiling fan as well as its own air-conditioning unit. The interior decorator has used pink, rich red and some gold accents to perfectly counter balance the depth and tones of the dark timber. Experience the tropical, Indonesian architecture and style at its best- complemented by magnificent, panoramic ocean, mountain, coastal and village views captured from every angle. Ground Level - Spacious sun decks surround a cool and inviting heated wet-edge horizon pool. Relax in a sun lounge or while a way the days in the Asian styled pool cabana, sipping a glass of champagne whilst gazing out to the ocean. First Level - You will feel very welcome at Villa Empat Puluh Dua as you enter the lobby through the beautifully carved wooden doors. Choose from 2 x beautiful Queen bedrooms and 1 x large King bedroom, all with ensuites and unforgettable views. On this level there are additional kitchen facilities and a dining area which can be closed off with sliding doors from the large lobby space. Second Level - Take the stairs up to the open plan main entertainment lounge and dining area- the heart of the house. Dusky Red wood panelling and polished dark timber floors add to the pleasantly cool and shaded atmosphere. High ceilings give sense of space and folding glass doors lead on to a huge deck with expansive views over ocean, beach and rainforest. Comfortable imported Italian leather sofas in chocolate brown are perfect for lounging while a wide screen television, DVD, Austar satellite channels and Pioneer stereo provide indoor entertainment. Here you will find the gourmet kitchen area. The kitchen has a floating wooden floor and is a good example of using timber functionally and decoratively. Reflective surfaces like polished chrome and stainless steel give light relief to the darker woods and are sophisticated. To complete the mood halogen down lights are placed in strategic spots for cooking while the pendant lights create soft illumination. All facilities and appliances are 'state of the art' and you will find everything you need. Feast on freshly prepared meals at the dining table and choose your magnificent view. A barbecue is also on the outer deck. On this level you will find full laundry facilities including washing machine and dryer and also 1 x King master bedroom (with ensuite and upstairs study) and 2 x Queen bedrooms situated in the left wing of this level. The main bedroom which is effectively a suite of rooms, typically resembles the style of a Balinese Villa, and has the bed centrally placed to take advantage of the view of Four Mile beach. The adjustable louvres temper the daylight as required and the built in shelves and walk-in robes are all in timber. A mezzanine studio above the main bed makes full use of all space in this fantastic villa. The bathroom opens directly to a deck with a spectacular view and has been designed using light coloured materials including brushed stainless steel fittings, a stone Italiana vanity top and frameless translucent glass. Third Level - This level brings you to the final level of Villa Empat Puluh Dua and here you will discover a spacious King bedroom and ensuite. Timber louvres high in the eaves and on all windows open to allow the cool tropical breezes in. There is a hotel-style phone system with separate lines in every room and additional plugs for internet access. At Empat Puluh Dua all bedrooms have ensuite designer bathrooms with deep bath or shower. L’Occitane products are supplied in the bathrooms, and luxurious Plane Tree Farm Belgian waffle robes and slippers are provided in the bedrooms. The tariff includes French champagne and a welcoming exotic tropical fruit basket on arrival, continental breakfast and daily servicing of rooms. All the elements that make for a delicious continental breakfast are served in your kitchen each day at 9 am. At this time we will also begin your daily maid service. We can arrange any special requests or if you would like an earlier/later delivery of service. Note: At Villa Empat Puluh Dua check-in time is from 2:00 pm. Checkout time is 10:00 am.
