Beachfront Suite - Situated beachside the rooms offer virtually uninterrupted views over Brammo Bay with direct access to the beach. Set in small groups of four units (two units upstairs, two downstairs), Beachfront Suites are bright and spacious with a king bed and a luxurious bathroom with a twin vanity. The interior is split-level with the upper level featuring the sleeping area and a comfortable living area on the lower level. Rooms have a relaxed coastal feel with double glass doors leading onto a large balcony. Additional in-room amenities include CD Player, bathrobes and fully stocked mini bar. Interconnecting Beachfront Suites are available.
Beachfront Room - Situated beachside with easy access to the beach through a tropical garden, guests can enjoy filtered views over Brammo Bay from most rooms. Upstairs rooms have balconies and down stairs rooms have a patio and lead onto the gardens and the beach. Rooms are comfortable with modern decor and contemporary cane and timber furniture on a split-level layout. Rooms have a separated living and sleeping area and ensuite facilities with combined bath and shower. All rooms feature one king and one single bed, or family configurations are available with one king and two single beds. Additional in-room amenities include bathrobes and fully stocked mini bar. Interconnecting rooms are available.
Garden Rooms - Set amongst tropical gardens these rooms are a short stroll from the central complex, resort facilities and beach. Garden Rooms have a queen bed, ensuite and a small outdoor patio or balcony. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and contain a separate ensuite with shower. Family configurations are available.

Set amongst lush tropical gardens, the Spa of Peace and Plenty has been designed with pampering and total indulgence in mind - a sanctuary where guests exchange stressed states for tranquillity and embrace treatments that renew energies or evoke delicious relaxation. Offering facials, massages, body exfoliation, body wraps, vichy showers, pedicures/manicures as well as hairdressing facilities.

Dunk Island Kids Club
When it comes to family fun, Dunk is truly the Island of Peace and Plenty. There's a whole host of things to enjoy together. But when Mum and Dad want a little peace and quiet together, thanks to Kids Club, being a parent doesn’t get much better. The idea is simple. If the kids are between 3 and 12 they can join in a Kids Club session and enjoy their own activities and meals. That leaves parents free to enjoy time together relaxing, maybe enjoying a private beach drop off, a sunset cruise, or restaurant dining.
Under the watchful eye of Dunk's professional staff, the kids enjoy a range of activities during morning, afternoon and evening sessions. They can join a beach and pool volleyball, soft hockey, take a rainforest discovery walk, visit Dunk's own farm and the list goes on. In the evening, there's disco parties, stargazing, night walks, movies, night games and more. The Kids Club even caters for the kids at dinner time. In fact, the kids will be having so much fun, parents can simply disappear. Now that's cool!
Babysitting can also be arranged for a nominal fee and is subject to availability. Please notify Reception at least 24 hours in advance should you require this service.
Please note - not all activities are scheduled every day. The three Kids Club sessions are only available during school holiday periods. Some activities are seasonal and subject to weather and tide conditions. Times and durations are subject to change.
Dining on Dunk Island
Beachcomber Restaurant - The resort's main restaurant, specialises in fresh tropical style cuisine. A buffet breakfast is served daily from 6.30am to 10.00am (included in the tariff). 3 Course table d'hote dinners are available 5 nights a week (a special childrens menu is available on these evenings) and themed buffet dinners are available 2 nights a week from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.
Plantation Bar and Deck - Overlooking the beachfront pool, it is the perfect place to soak up the rich, tropical ambience of Dunk. Alfresco dining at its best. The Plantation Bar offers delicious snacks and sandwiches daily. Or make it a quiet drink unwinding from your day of ‘plenty’. Soak up the tropical ambience as you look out across the palm fringed beach to distant islands. Open daily for lunch from 11.00am to 4.00pm (bar service from 10.00am until late).
The Terrace Restaurant - The Terrace offers up the dream view overlooking the Cascade Pool. It also offers authentic pizzas and pastas for lunch. Plus fresh tapas, antipasto and fine Italian dining in the evenings. Open 6.00pm to 9.00pm.
The Jetty Café - For casual beachside dining, the Jetty Cafe is open for lunch offering gourmet fish and chips, sandwiches, wraps, salads and pastas. Enjoy a cool beverage or a coffee. Open from 9.00am.
Asian Noodle Bar - Right beside the Butterfly Pool you’ll find delicious Asian flavours from the Asian Noodle Cafe. It’s a relaxed dining experience that includes rice, stir-fry and noodle dishes. Take a seat or enjoy your noodles in a box and head beachside! Open for lunch from 12.00pm.
The Pool Bar - You guessed it. Located by the pool. Cascade Pool to be precise. Serving an exciting array of tropical cocktails and full range of drinks. Open every evening.
Picnic Lunches - All sounds too organised? Order up a picnic lunch, grab a dinghy and create your own restaurant. Sounds like paradise to us.
Meal Package - Make your holiday care free by purchasing an all-inclusive meal package. It’s a convenient way to ensure you maintain your holiday budget and is available with any length of stay. Alternatively, meal packages can be purchased as required on a day to day basis. Meal packages include buffet or 2 course lunch daily, and buffet or three course dinner daily.

Dunk Island Location
Covering 1,000 Hectares, Dunk Island is located approximately 4 kilometres off the Tropical North Queensland coast (Mission Beach), midway between Townsville and Cairns.
Transfers to Dunk Island
Hinterland Aviation operate the connecting flight between Cairns and Dunk Island up to 3 times daily. Private charter flights can be arranged.
Coach connections operate between Port Douglas, Northern Beaches, Cairns Airport and Cairns City daily to connect with the launch to Dunk Island. Transfer time is approximately 3 hours.
