The Angkasa management will personalise your stay to make it a truly boutique experience. On arrival your host will be on hand to welcome you, assist with your check in and familiarise you with the property.

Our four magnificent luxury suites spread over three levels of an ultra-modern private home and offer a mixture of lush rainforest and sparkling ocean views. All have the latest state of the art conveniences, ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning, five star finishes and unique points of difference. The accommodation suites are designed to impress.

Each of the four stunning guest suites, with their own private balconies have the latest state of the art conveniences and are individually fashioned with their own distinct characteristics and flavour. The feel is urban Asian and the artifacts reflect this. The decor is beige, bone and cream; walls are mostly white, with a few featured in a soothing deep grey, and the communal areas, bathrooms and decks are tiled in sand-coloured marble. The Angkasa look is straight from an interiors magazine, complete with 21st-century design concepts such as floating "walls" draped in white sheers. The beds are sink-into comfy; there are light silk spreads in metallic colours and the Egyptian cotton sheets have such a high thread count they make most hotel equivalents seem like sandpaper. The Angkasa Coolum Level One - As you step into the foyer and level one entertaining area of The Angkasa, the sense of luxury and soothing design takes hold. This area is set up to lounge and relax in intimate spaces looking out over several water features and tropical gardens. It is the ideal space to borrow a book from our library and settle in to one of the oversized lounges for the evening. Your senses are also drawn out beyond to the spa, surrounding lush tropical rainforest and spa terrace, ideal for reclining on a sunlounge area which seamlessly transitions to plush indoor lounges. You will delight in soaking and being caressed by the champagne bubbles in the infinity edge spa with contemporary waterfall overlooking the tropical rainforest. Level Two - The layout is designed to ensure maximum privacy for the accommodation while still having ultra generous and indulgent living spaces that simultaneously calm and inspire and effortlessly open to either massive rooftop terrace with integrated gas barbecue or to the spa oasis. The layout is flexible in design and can be set up for banquet style dinner parties or alfresco dining. It is the ideal setting for a romantic beach escape as well as a venue for an unforgettable holiday experience.

Ocean Penthouse - Indulge in the ultimate in seaside luxury... The luxury penthouse is on the top storey and boasts sweeping ocean and rainforest views. Order a bath treatment and soak in the deep freestanding bath while watching a movie on the LCD panel or relax in the most luxurious of king sized four poster beds with a 106cm Plasma screen and surround sound system while watching the moon rise shimmering over the Coral Sea.

Rainforest Suite – intimacy nestled within the rainforest… The Rainforest Suite, located on the lower ground level, is our largest and most private suite whose ensuite exudes tropical elegance and romance at its finest. The netted King bed area exudes the ambience of five star camping in the rainforest with all luxuries catered for. Outdoor day beds and dining areas are surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Sink into the deep sunken bath that merges with the outdoor water feature.

Tropical Suite - total privacy with rainforest views… The tropical suite is a cozy private retreat with rainforest views decorated with Asian antiques. Relax in your queen bed, draped in shimmery sheer curtains while watching a complimentary movie from our extensive collection on your widescreen television. This suite also features a drenching rainhead shower and Phillipe Stark fittings.

Canopy Suite - ultra spacious offering design luxury… This luxurious suite floats above the lush rainforest canopy and features an outdoor daybed, rainhead shower area with rainforest views. The sumptuous bed and widescreen home entertainment system ensures a sensory experience that is unparalleled.

The Chef’s Den at The Angkasa

The grand gourmet kitchen is a stunning centre piece in its own right and truly is a pleasure to use. Bring out the gourmet chef in you as you prepare meals on the warm Italian marble benches overlooking the panoramic views. Preparing anything from the simplest meals to a more adventurous creation is a true delight and will make you feel like a professional chef. The kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel commercial grade six burner dual fuel stove and extra wide oven. The double door stainless steel fridge has filtered water and crushed ice available instantly. For your convenience a built in wine fridge will keep your favourite bottles chilled. Fitted out also is a computerised espresso coffee machine and café sandwich grill press for steaming fresh coffee and grilled sandwiches at anytime of day. The kitchen is stocked with the high quality utensils, cutlery, crockery and glass ware that would be suitable for any occasion. If cooking is not on the agenda then a private chef can be organized to prepare your meals. Additional Services available at The Angkasa Coolum In house dining services - anything from an intimate candlelit dinner or packed picnic lunches for the beach can be arranged from our panel of caterers. Wait staff can also be arranged. Prior to check in, each room mini fridge can be stocked with a wide range of gourmet products to suit each of the individual needs of guests. Alternatively a welcome hamper of gourmet products can be arranged upon arrival for your stay. A full in house library of movie DVDs, Music CDs, books and games can be made available. In house massages can be arranged to your room or on the terrace overlooking the ocean and rainforest. A range of treatments is offered. We have a wide range of spa treatments and Holistic Healing treatments from qualified practitioners available on request. A welcome hamper of groceries, which is a good idea as the kitchen has few provisions can be pre-arranged.
