Blanchetown - just one and a half hours by car from Adelaide through the Barossa Valley and two and a half hours from Mildura - known as the ‘Key to the Riverlands’ beautiful wines, citrus and nut growing regions - which produces 60% of the wine and 80% of the citrus fruits and nuts grown in South Australia. Well known Riverland golf courses and wineries eg. Banrock Station Winery and Wetlands are all just a short drive away. A holiday in the Riverland is a holiday in the sunshine as the Riverland also has more sunshine hours per day per year than the Gold Coast! You will see high cliff faces full of nesting birds, large shallow backwaters and lagoons with water birds and great for canoeing, long easy walking trails, and best of all very little river traffic - the next marina downstream is 3 days away - and at the same time we also have dozens of good safe mooring sites.

Quality Houseboat Essentials
All boats have as standard equipment - air conditioning, barbecue, television, DVD, video recorder, sound system, pillows and continental quilt for each bed, all quality linen, gas space heater, panoramic tinted windows, upper sundecks with canopies, swim decks, mobile phone, 2 way radio, life jackets, economical diesel or 4 stroke motors and *dinghies or canoes (*for hire).

Booking conditions for all Quality Houseboats
Drivers must hold a Drivers Licence or Boat Licence and be over 21 years of age. The deposit is payable within 7 days of booking, the balance of hire charge is payable 6 weeks prior to departure, and the cash bond is payable when boarding the boat. The number of persons onboard must not exceed the number shown on the Survey Certificates displayed on each boat. No pets, firearms, motorbikes, chainsaws or axes are permitted on board. Costs of fuel and any damage or losses incurred will be deducted from the security bond. In the event of cancellation the standard Houseboat Hirers Association cancellation policy will apply.
