Getting to The Kimberley Grande Kununurra
By Air
- Qantas offers daily flights from anywhere to Darwin, and from Perth to Broome, as well as a weekly direct flight from Perth to Kununurra (twice weekly during the main tourist season May - September).
- Airnorth fly from Darwin or Broome to Kununurra at least once a day, more often during the tourist season.

By Road: Kununurra is located 1040 kms East of Broome, or 825 kms from Darwin. Either way it's a long drive, but definitely worth it.

If you are able to take a few days for the trip, drive. Especially the stretch of road between Katherine and Kununurra is simply spectacular- as is the road from Kununurra to Halls Creek. And of course, for the really adventurous and the four wheel driving enthusiasts, there is the Gibb River Road from Broome to Kununurra. A 660km stretch of unsealed road through the heart of the Kimberley and to some of the most remote and beautiful places on this planet.
